Even so, it speaks to the severe danger this country is in when a bona fide and admitted communist get this much support under a two party system. What he plans to do by executive order is a nightmare for any working class US citizen.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Sanders would very likely lose to Trump in the 2020 Presidential election. He is too far left to beat an incumbent President with basically a good economy. Democrats need a moderate nominee who can beat Trump in the battleground ground States such as Arizona and Michigan.

You got that right...I just hope that if somehow he gets in, there is enough checks and balances to just wait his four years out. But given the new SOP of impeachment, I may take a bet with Schmo he wouldn't last a two years.

My guess is you are in the same boat I was in last election...which is basically a "are you kidding me, this is my choice", a game show host and a ahhhuhewwwwaaa ah ah ah... (making a cringing face like I just ate a spoon full of horse radish and washed it down with a cup of vinegar, while stepping on a fresh cat turd bare footed).
