“ Conley was with his girlfriend and their baby when he ordered tacos from the truck around 6:40 p.m. Saturday, but after receiving his order, he told the vendor that he didn’t want to pay for the food [PRIVILEGE] , according to prosecutors.

Police arrested him [PRIVILEGE - wasn’t shot] a few minutes later on the 100 block of East Randolph. The bicyclist, who received scrapes, refused medical attention. Conley’s baby was not injured. Prosecutors said nearly all of the activity was recorded by CPD’s extensive camera network.

Last year, Conley was charged with felony possession of a firearm, but prosecutors agreed to let him plead guilty to a misdemeanor in that case, according to statements made in bond court.”

Felony possession of a firearm turns into a misdemeanor? So, I guess my example proves that black privilege exists? Who gets a misdemeanor for that? Well. Apparently a black guy does. Case closed! Black privilege exists!

Nah, only if you're having problems mentally. So a black guy doesn't get shot for stealing tacos while with his six month old baby, and previously prosecutors lowered charges against him in a routine plea deal. Must be because he's black! Genius!

I mean it takes some truly asinine thinking to believe you're disproving white privilege by providing examples when black people aren't killed. The fact that you have to stretch a routine plea deal into a favor based on race, kinda established the point how hard it is for you to make

Isn't this what you're doing, though? You're just alarm clocking the forum with the worst examples of police behavior while simultaneously ignoring the immediate reasons for the conflict or police call in the first place. You're doing this to promote the idea of white privilege, no? You started the thread by posting a provocative video of a lower-class white male screaming at the police and breaking various traffic laws and then established that it was white privilege that got him out of being arrested. When asked if any other factors might've been at play you just moved on and started spamming your own thread with whatever you could google. So, if for every example you post of 'white privilege' we post an example of 'black privilege' is that going to dissuade you from your position?

Obviously not.

For anyone paying attention, notice the soft shift from better policing and egalitarianism to now systemic racism and white supremacy. This is done to gather support for programs that Leftists thing will solve whatever problem they're talking about in the moment. This, of course, will never stop.

That said, in the spirit of moving forward together, I'll state that the intent behind, uh, Icarus' alarm clock posting could produce some good outcomes when it comes to policing. I'd like to see every officer outfitted with cameras, trained in deescalation techniques, and disarmed to a reasonable extent <- I'm not sure how that'll fly since we're all armed to the teeth.

What else, Icarus? Lessee... the end game, no? Free housing, health insurance, college/trade schools, mental health services, food, and a stipend? I think that's what we're getting at, in order to reach social equanimity? What's the total annual costs and can you go ahead and make the case for this rather than alarm clock the thread with statistically low examples of bad policing?
