This country is fu-cked. The idiots have taken over.
Then go back to your own country where you can enjoy the fruits of a country that is run by people who behave and think like you do.
Like it or not, by law, now that Schmo is a naturalized citizen (as am I) this country is just as much our country as it is yours. You have no more right to demand that we leave it than we have to demand that you leave it. In truth, avowed white supremacists like you, are, if anything, a greater detriment to this country than people like Some Schmo could ever be.

She was an amazing lawyer and a great Justice. She had more grit than I could ever hope to have. Her friendship with Justice Scalia was a tremendous example of how two people with antagonistic philosophies can relate to one another.

I'm not going to talk about the political ramifications right now. She was a great person who did amazing things, and I mourn her death for our loss of who she was and what she accomplished. I think she deserves that.

Amen!

Your socialism ruined both of your native countries. If socialism is what you want, why do you have to infect my country with it. Why can't you go back to where you came from? Then you can have your socialism and every that you believe is so great about it and I can have my capitalism and everything I love about that.
You have no more right to demand that we leave it than we have to demand that you leave it. In truth,
No I don't. It'd just be nice if you did leave.

And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Will Pelosi and the Democrats make the same argument they made for Obama's pick in the wake of Kennedy? Or will they also wax hypocritical and suddenly about-face to McConnell's position of 2015?
exactly.
The hypocrisy is politically convenient and for you guys to clutch your pearls is not even laughable anymore, its sad.
I will grant you this: I agree that if Democrats had the majority in the senate, instead of the Republicans, and they insisted on pushing forward a vote to install a replacement for Ginsburg before the winner of the coming election takes the oath of office, they would equally be in the wrong to do so.

LOL That almost sounds like a threat. I suspect though that you are all bark and no bite. Good thing for you since it usually ends up bad for people who try and act out in such ways.

Do we have any socialist countries left? I only see countries run on capitalistic systems.

People sometimes like to make a nice definition of themselves they want other to believe, but it never works well. You keep defining yourself by your words and actions. You know, like those words you posted on storm-front and a link to a video attacking someone who just died. If you don't want people to think you are an asshole, stop acting like one.

R.I.P.
R.B.G.

As subgenious observed, she was 87, had a full life and died surrounded by loved ones. A tiny little woman with a great heart and mind. The tragedy is not that she died, it's that she died in 2020 instead of 2021.

Now we can look forward to the GOP leaders saying with a straight face that this is nothing like the Gorsuch situation. That's where the tragedy begins.

It would be nice if you weren't such a selfish prick. *shrug*

You don't know sh-it. Your entire posting history represents an ocean of denial.

We can only judge you by what you post. We aren't defining you; you are. You clearly have different words for "white supremacist" than the rest of the world (who aren't racists in denial).

Ya know, if the term "racist" bums you out, you can always replace it with "ignorant prick." Same thing.

I agree with your thoughts about her, but I have to admit that I reacted to this news immediately dreading the political ramifications. I knew the GOP would start talking pushing a new judge through. I also know I've been pinning waning hopes on the Supreme Court to save this country from Trump and Barr when they attempt to complete their authoritarian takeover and contest the results of the election.

Not much hope now. I can't help feeling this is the end of democracy in the US. The religious nuts want a theocracy.

So sorry, Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Really wish you could have held out a lot longer.

Honestly, I haven't felt this much despair since the day after Trump was elected. This is bad news, people.

RIP Justice Ginsburg.

I now really wished that Bill Nelson won his re-election bid. A bad ballot design in Broward County probably cost him that Senate election.

How can you say that Norway, in particular, is a ruined country, when it consistently ranks as one of the top 5 happiest countries on earth, has a much higher per capita GDP than we do, lower poverty rate than we have, lower crime rate, better and less expensive healthcare, much smaller proportion of its people in prison, etc.

And, believe it or not, free enterprise, capitalism and entrepreneurship are still alive and well in Norway.
That is way over-the-top unjustified. Ruth Bader Ginsburg was one of the most decent and fair-minded Justices this nation has ever known. There was no greater champion for equality of all under the law. She was highly respected and admired by both liberals and conservatives, including ultra conservative Justice Antonin Scalia, who regarded her as one of his best friends.
