What do you have a crystal ball?
No, just a seer stone.
What I mean is, Trump WILL NOT..... I repeat, WILL NOT allow the topics and issues to be discussed. He will do ANYTHING, say ANYTHING to prevent anyone from looking at his performance in any manner. If he can't crow about how great his own excellency is, he will neve shut up until all are exhausted, and the time is up. There will be no progress done in any other debates. There is no point to them, nothing will be clarified or understood. We all know that. In that respect, Trump wins, because he has been the biggest flop in U. S. History as a leader, and he will do everything to keep our eyes of coming to that conclusion through the MASSIVE evidence pointing to it. That is how Donald has always done it. He says outrageous things making reporters forget the issues they want to ask him about. It would not surprise me in the least were he to pull out his thingy and stroke it in public in order to stop an analysis of issues that make him look bad. He has done stuff like that for 4 years, he ain't stoppin now.

After witnessing last night's train wreck, I got on youtube and watched the Kennedy vs. Nixon debates. How we have devolved to this state of political atrophy is directly tied to Trump.

The only reason he's trying to win this election is because he's trying to keep his sorry ass out of jail. Let's hope that is crystal clear to enough Americans to vote him out of the White House, out of his Armani suit, and into an orange jump suit if that is the appropriate thing.

He's desperate as fu-ck to hold on to the protections he has as President. Let's hope it's a landslide for Biden and then, let the SDNY have at this guy.

If there are other debates, there should be a cutoff switch on microphone of those not scheduled to speak. Trump has no self-control.

Who said Trump won the debate? Trump didn't win the debate. Trump destroyed any possibility of debate.
Exactly, and thus winning.......... there isn't going to be a second or third debate either.
I doubt Trump's behavior is going to do well with those in the middle who are open to voting either way.

Does this suggestion prevent Trump from speaking anyway, just more loudly? I suspect he knows how to raise his voice.

We could have a real shouting match, that is the sort of affair Trump might be good at.

I do have some concern about Trump's Proud Boys milling around the polling places looking for a rumble.

Even if he yelled, you would barely hear it being picked up by Biden or the moderator's mike from the sound stage. It wouldn't be enough to disrupt whoever's talking.

Trump's performance in that debate reminded me of a scene from The Last Boy Scout where a football player is running down the field, pulls out a gun and shoots the defenders to avoid being tackled. He can't play by the rules, so he destroys the game.

The debate commission is considering how to change the rules in order to minimize interruptions and have a more issue-driven conversation. I have an idea on how the rules can be changed that would foster a more orderly conversation or at a very minimum, make the debate more interesting:

The first time a candidate interrupts his opponent he is fitted with a shock collar. Every subsequent time he interrupts, he is immediately shocked.

I'd watch that.

If Trump wants to yell loudly while his microphone is off and Biden is speaking, he will look even more like a bloviating bully. He may want to destroy Biden's chances of speaking without cross-talk, but don't make it easier by leaving his mike on when it's Biden's turn to speak.
