This post is actually a poster (large decoration) for Trump Derangement Syndrome and not a credible critique of anyone or anything - other than the poster (person posting online). It is convoluted and confusing. In an era of gaslighting, toddleresque responses and silos of affirmation, a post like this will get likes and congratulations and produce a response from the common gallery, even though it is nonsensical. If one looks at the post closely, it is obviously a mess at best. It is clearly ill-informed and not thought out.

TDS is a condition where one criticizes the former President without regard for the actual policies. It is shorthand to describe the condition where people judge based on their ideology and affiliations, rather than the facts. In this post, Schmo takes it to another level and makes a list of conditions that he assigns to anyone that does not agree with him, or does not join his affiliation. The list is pejorative attributes of people he does not know or understand. It is effectively, his personal collage poster of his own TDS.

TDS is really not that complicated. It is confirmation bias and negativity bias on metaphorical strong psychotropics. People who suffer from this condition, often attribute things to Trump voters based solely on their own narrow views of the world and exclude actual facts. For example, they often choose to forget/ignore that Trump ran against the God-awful GOP establishment (another Bush) in the primaries, and against the God-awful Hillary in the general.

The US had a leader who purposefully spread lies and disinformation to downplay Covid-19 because he was worried it would hurt his re-election campaign that year.

Bob Woodward recorded this private phone call with Trump on February 7, 2020 before any cases were even reported in the USA:

Three days later Trump then says this to the public:

On February 26, 2020, he says this to the public:

"…when you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that’s a pretty good job we’ve done."

On February 27 2020, he says this to the public:

"It’s going to disappear. One day — it’s like a miracle — it will disappear. And from our shores, we — you know, it could get worse before it gets better. It could maybe go away. We’ll see what happens. Nobody really knows."

On March 19 2020, he says this in another private call to Bob Woodward:

"Now it’s turning out it’s not just old people, Bob. Just today and yesterday, some startling facts came out. It’s not just old- older."

"I wanted to- I wanted to always play it down. I still like playing it down, because I don’t want to create a panic."

Those lies from Trump and his allies have cost 700,000 Americans their lives, and left countless others with lifelong health problems. Most of those people wouldn't have died if Trump had never been President.

Trump and his son in law Jared Kushner (who Trump gave a powerful job to in the White House) also withheld protective equipment (PPE) and testing kits from "blue states" during the early stages of the pandemic because they were happy for people in those states to suffer and die so that Trump would be able to shift the blame for his terrible handling the pandemic onto those governors instead.

Trump also demanded that health officials slow down testing for Covid-19 so that the public wouldn't know how badly infections were spreading through the country.

The fact that the President of the USA killed so many of his own citizens on purpose, yet is still the most popular leader in his political party shows the effectiveness of a modern propaganda technique Trump's advisor Steve Bannon calls "Flood the zone with crap".

About 40% of all American voters are now walled inside of a fake news reality controlled by Trump's allies, where they have ironically been programmed to reject all outside information as fake news.

The programming goes so deep that you have people dying of Covid-19 in hospitals raging at doctors and nurses because they can't accept that Covid-19 even exists, let alone that they have it, and it's killing them.

Gee, I can’t imagine why people are still talking about Trump.

I have a small theory that once a person slaps a political bumper sticker on their car, or flies a political flag, you can rest assured they’re operating outside of normal parameters. I think also goes for wearing political apparel such as t-shirts, hats, and whatever else I’m not thinking about right now. If I had to guess it probably boils down to an effort to exert control over an inherently chaotic world, which is scary - it feels like politics is taking over religion for people, that they believe utopia can be achieved if they just get the right political sect into power. Crazy days.

The fascination appears to be equally or more intense by critics. But yes, exactly. Oh, one more thing. Hillary would be a metric ton better as president than Biden. I agree with your comment, which identifies her as the worst candidate. That is obviously true then and up to this point. But, she would definitely be a better President than this guy.
