Is it normal for non-Republicans to be this giddy and ecstatic over Republicans potentially willing elections in other states?

Based on that report, it is over. Outstanding precincts are almost exclusively in Blue/Murphy counties. Fascinating to watch this go down to the wire. Almost certainly, it will land outside a 0.5% margin.

County by county information is pretty interesting. Several wide shifts for both parties. From 538:

Maybe you’re joking but counties with as yet unreported precincts are in northern and central jersey. A couple lean Democrat or even, but by far the largest one leans strongly GOP.

(Edit, sorry, corrected county numbers)

You are looking at Monmouth? (8.29% Share)
I was looking at the counties with less than 80% counted. (Essex D+46, Middlesex D+9, Camden D+22, Mercer D+15)

Assuming current outstanding counties land about where they are currently trending for the rest of their votes I think you'd rather be Murphy here. Stranger things have happened though.

No question about that. If it reverses, it would be like last year, but during the daytime. A change from here would be a HUGE statistical anomaly.

No, i'm def leaning Murphy, I just thought the comments about "up the turnpike" and "shenanigans" were painting an inaccurate picture.
