This morning, I find myself feeling somewhat let down by you, Canpakes. I had high hopes of logging in this morning to find that you had taken the professional step of placing my picture of "baby Homer Simpson" in its rightful spot.

When you decided to initiate this thread and removed my post (not copied) from Some Schmo's thread, you took an action that is reserved for a moderator. This thread has been initiated by Canpakes, the moderator, rather than by Canpakes, the regular poster.

If you truly value your role as a moderator, it would be more appropriate to engage in this thread with professionalism rather than providing vague responses that are not suitable for someone in your position.

At the very beginning of this message board's existence, people complained about gutter language being used everywhere and threatened to depart if something wasn't done about it. So the different "kingdoms," where varying levels of potty-mouth were allowed or disallowed, as the case may be, was the compromise.

A majority of people can comprehend the fact that the "F" and "S" words are reserved for the Telestial and Spirit Prison fora only, but people like you just can't figure out that extremely simple concept no matter how often it's drilled into their heads. So the word-censor had to be activated for those words, which unfortunately is universal across all fora.

You had the option to replicate my post featuring my baby Homer Simpson when starting this thread, which would have positioned you as Canpakes, the typical poster on the board. You chose to exercise your moderator powers to eliminate my post from Schmo's thread.

It seems to me that this decision stemmed from your frustration over our differing political views. This thread is becoming personal for you, and it seems you're leveraging your moderator powers in that regard.
