Re: Shady Acres Jukebox
Who Knows,
I haven't actually bought the album, but the new single is starting to grow on me a little. I like it the more I hear it.
Also, if you get the new issue of Guitar World magazine theres a really great set of interviews with the band. On ewith Het, One with Kirk, and an overview of the first five albums and what was going on at the time of their creation. Interesting reading.
I can't imagine what it was like for those three to be standing on the side of the road freezing as the crane was lifting the bus off of Cliff, only to see the crane rigging slip and they drop the bus on top of him again! I think Kirk said that's when he passed out. Brutal.

We interrupt your regularly scheduled Rocktober posting for a special request off the phonelines. A caller named "Buttermouth" has asked us to play some songs of sweet love for a little lady out there named "Harmony", so buttermouth here ya go, and good luck.....

Rocktober (October) is only two more days away. Are you going to start a Rocktober Discussion thread then here, Gazelam?

Re: Shady Acres Jukebox
I'd prefer to do Rocktober here, for archival reasons I suppose. Although in the past we did Valentines and Christmas and Summer mixes in other threads.
Since we already started it here. Lets just do it here.

A New Order Flood!
How about a precursor to New Order? Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart
If you can find the Permanent Mix of that song, I think it's the best musically.
Or how about a New Order original? New Order - Blue Monday '88

Nope. I meant New Order. However, I do enjoy watching jobless left-wingers rioting for handouts and getting put down by right-wing vigilanttes.. ;)
