This could be attributable to any number of factors but still...I'll come back and correct today's numbers if I see that more data was reported overnight causing that last number to change. Is it possible that the numbers are true and accurate? Yes. I also think it bears watching.

This is over an hour long. But if you're of a mind, it's very informative. I'm part way through it myself. Dr. Gupta is steering the conversation but Fauci takes questions from others. Fauci covers virtually every issue. If you want to make yourself sick, read some of the comments below it. Otherwise, probably best to ignore the ignorance. To be fair, most comments are respectful. Just watch out for the tinfoil hat stuff. ;-)

I would like to see what these masks actually look like and are made of. Are they the crap knit fabrics that offer little to no protection? Do they have filter pockets and filters to go with them? Are they sending out different sizes and colors? If not, what happens in a classroom when students are permitted mask-off time when all the masks are look-a-likes of the same color? Children will end up wearing each other's masks for God's sake.

There are something in the neighborhood of 50+ school age children in the U.S. That's 2 masks per student. Are preschoolers and others in non-district programs going to get them too and if not, why not?

Or is this simply an election year panacea type maneuver?

Really good interview by Matthew McConaughey with Dr. Fauci. 40 minutes and change. I agree with one of the comments below the video that McConaughey does a better job interviewing than the big news channels. I'd add that I think he's more intelligent and more well informed than most interviewers. Covers more ground and offers more clarity than I expected.
