DT,

I talked to my girls about sex, all that it entails with regard to physical health, social situations, and family planning. I helped get my girls on birth control to help regulate menstrual cycles, and as a precaution if against pregnancy they chose to have sex. They avoided a lot of pitfalls that comes with reproductive ignorance and a lack of parental mentorship. I strongly urge you to rethink your approach to your children if you end up having any. This is a tough world where mistakes can have dire consequences, so being armed with good information and the ability to be smart about these issues will position them for success.

I understand your view, but I would probably let the mother take care of it.
(a) If your daughter asks you a question, you mean you would just say "Um, go talk to Mom"? Trust me, that will give her a truly weird and potentially troubling image of masculinity. She comes to you, shows her trust by asking you her question, and then you make her feel (she will) that it was in some way inappropriate of her to ask you? Please don't do that to her.

(b) If you don't feel you know enough to talk to your daughter on such subjects - BUY A BOOK AND FIND OUT! You have the capacity to make an immense improvement in her chances of living a happy, safe, and fulfilling life by telling her what she needs to know.

who can't get a date.
It is way more common than you think. We are no longer living in the 1990s.

"Ueda et al. (2020) found that the percentage of sexually inactive men ages 18 to 24 increased from 18.9 percent in 2000–2002 to 30.9 percent in 2016–201"

It is obvious you don't have a son.
Right. Not having a son makes it impossible for me to understand what it's like to be a young man.

I get it; you'd rather make excuses than make yourself attractive to women.

It seems clear to me, based on his posts (so, you know... who knows?), that dt's issue attracting women is directly related to his attitude toward them. Maybe dt is an example of nature's way of weeding out folks who seriously shouldn't reproduce.

Sure. Blame it all on the men. I do make myself attractive. I go to the gym, I do everything right, but it is not easy to find a girlfriend. It is easier to attract single mothers.

Like I tell Cult and Mike, just look at the data.

"a decline in the percentage of young adults who are in romantic relationships, including not only formal marriage and nonmarital cohabitation but also less formal dating relationships (see also Twenge et al. 2017a)"
https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/1 ... 3121996854

"Among men, those younger than 30 are by far the most likely to be single: About half of men in this age group (51%) are single"
https://www.pewresearch.org/social-tren ... americans/

Stop blaming all single men. You are acting like a Republican.

Okay. But I don't have to worry about that now.

I'm not blaming men. I'm giving you responsibility for your own problems.

If you were doing everything right, you wouldn't' be whining about it on a message board.

Nobody promised it would be easy. There was a time when I didn't think it was easy either. Then I grew up.

Wait a minute! You can't even get a date and you're trying to tell me what I believe is bullxxxt? 🤔

Im willing to help you if you want to learn how to attract women. First, has nothing to do with going to the gym. I know all kinds of fat guys who attract women. It's all about attitude and personality. Also, maybe you're trying to attract the wrong women. Second, never, and I mean never, do what a woman tells you to do if you actually want to attract a woman. Be a cocky son of a gun!! It works 100% of the time. Just look how Lem and jersey can't seem to leave me alone. That's because they're actually attracted to me. They won't admit it, but it's true!

But seriously, where are you going to meet women? And what are you doing to attract them?

He's not here for discussion. He's here to put his egocentricity on display for all the world to see. Hopefully one day, that frontal lobe will kick in...but don't hold your breath waiting for it, k?
