No one in the scientific community has ever stated that the coronavirus can be ‘eradicated’ from lockdowns. Post a reference if you want to claim otherwise.

The first ‘lockdowns’ slowed the spread and gave hospitals a chance to process the initial wave of infections without becoming overloaded.
