It doesn't seem that "the bodies of children brought in" implies that the children had "a rifle wound [that was] treatable."
Shooting children is already execrable, a sniper targeting children is even more so.

Hi Marcus,
The fault is in my use of language in a previous post. The confusion was entirely caused by me, and I think understandable.
That said, I think people sometimes don't realize just how survivable gunshot wounds can be, if they miss key vital organs, and bleeding is managed. About a hundred of the gunshot wound survivors of the 2017 Route 91 Massacre were hit with 7.62x51mm NATO rounds (the same round used in the IMI Galil Galataz Israeli sniper rifle).

I’ve probably been thinking too much of a military operation in which medics have to do a lot of triage. The Gazans are still trying to live a normal life, in which if somebody dies, you still bring them to the hospital even if it’s just to confirm death.
I don’t know anything about the Route 91 massacre, but I really don’t think it’s easy to survive rifle shots anywhere near anything vital. Supersonic bullets don’t just drill holes. They make big splashes.
I’ve seen it demonstrated in a harmless way with a big sealed metal can full of water. A .22 rimfire round made a leak in the can. A .303 round blew the whole can apart. High speed bullets are even more dangerous than one might think, by a lot.

I was a teenager before it was cool.
