Well, a photo of a dozen people isn't really a great sample size.

Trump Lost More Of The Asian-American Vote Than The National Exit Polls Showed

According to AALDEF's poll, Clinton's support was closer to winning four-in-five Asian-American voters (79 percent) with just 18 percent for Trump.

I'm tired of watching pretentious people post who complain about behavior they seem oblivious to in themselves.

Um, no. Unfortunately, Chinese-American people can be just as ill-informed but self-assured about history as their neighbours.

The history of the variety of fortifications of widely different ages constructed in northern China since the end of the first millennium BC is complex. But such fortifications played virtually no role in postponing the conquest of first north and then south China by the Jurchen and the Mongols in the period from the 12th to 13th century.

Chinese defence against the partly nomadic people to the north was arguably a great deal more effective in the periods when it was based not on static fortifications, but on a flexible combination of diplomacy and trade, backed up by credible and mobile military force.

My point in posting the picture was to suggest that posting hand-picked or staged pictures of a few voters is meaningless, and I am glad you agree.

Ceeboo, in your opinion - where does this rate on the hysteria scale?

At the end of her monologue Wednesday night, Fox News host Laura Ingraham issued a dire warning to the country: "This is a national emergency, and we must demand that Congress act now."

The national emergency wasn't weather-related. It wasn't a shortage of medicine or food. It wasn't a cyberattack or terrorist threat.

It was, instead, "massive demographic changes." What once might have been a dog whistle is officially a scream, voiced over the airwaves of the President's favorite cable news network.

It's a sad commentary on Trump's America.

"In some parts of the country, it does seem like the America that we know and love doesn't exist anymore," she complained.

"Massive demographic changes have been foisted upon the American people, and they are changes that none of us ever voted for, and most of us don't like. From Virginia to California, we see stark examples of how radically, in some ways, the country has changed."

In case it was unclear, she explicitly said it: "Now, much of this is related to both illegal, and in some cases legal immigration that, of course, progressives love."

To many, that sounded racist. That's because it is. She isn't complaining that the country's getting older or younger, richer or poorer, that we're having more or fewer children or moving to the suburbs. She's complaining that people who come to America from other countries — even legally — are making this country unrecognizable to her. Indeed, to "us."

She's right about this, of course. I didn't realize she was a Native American, however.

(Hysterical scale goes from 1 to 100)

Equating Trump/Putin/Helsinki to 911/The Holocaust/Pearl Harbor - 100
Article on Laura Ingraham - 8

making this country unrecognizable to her

I can relate to this part though - America is starting to become more and more unrecognizable to me too.

I’m assuming that this reverses, from the conservative viewpoint - in other words, worries about America becoming unrecognizable because of ‘others’ scores in the upper zone around 100, and Trump’s statements in Helsinki scores an 8 or so. Is that how it works?

This post is confusing - I'm not sure what you are saying. If you would like to clear it up for me, I'll try to respond. If not, that's okay too. No worries.
