My oldest son is in downtown Seattle at a peaceful protest. But several other groups within a couple blocks have gotten violent, setting fires and smashing windows. He’s heading back to his bus stop to get out of there. I’m watching on TV and texting with him, feeling sick. I won’t relax until he’s out of there.

Is he practicing proper social distancing during the protest? Wearing a mask and gloves I hope.

We can't leave the house for work but going out to burn down the city is perfectly fine.

I guess Covid wasn't going to beat Trump, time to start a race war.

His son didn't go down there to burn down the city. Did you even read what he wrote? Are your in real life interactions with people at work, in the community, and at home as devoid of empathy and reason as your above statements?

RI is concerned about his son who attended a peaceful protest getting back home safe and sound because there is violence erupting at another location. It looks like you are just indiscriminately shooting at anything that moves here, Ajax.

What's going on across the nation right now has nothing to do with Trump or the 2020 election. It has to do with three officers who pinned down an unarmed suspect already in police custody (in cuffs) until the man died while a 4th officer stood by.

Why is Trump the only reference you choose to employ when talking about current events?
