So the GOP was losing their crap over the fake news about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hiring her boyfriend on her staff. It wasn't true but they ran with it anyway and accused her of being "the swamp" already. Meanwhile we just learned that the President of the United States allowed someone to have clearance despite advice from security officials. Who was that person? Jared Kushner, his son in law. Not only is this infinitely worse than hiring a spouse on your staff, it shows that President is a national security threat to our nation when he just doesn't care about the significance of having top secret clearance.

It's mind boggling to me how our CinC can do this, lie about it, and other than a passing article no action will be taken. On a related note, that Kushner security clearance story is significantly worse in national security terms than Clinton's private server was. Something tells me that not only will we not get wall-to-wall Republican outrage over it, we also won't get wall-to-wall media coverage over it that dwarfs any other story for the next year or so.
