12 days later...the eggs are no longer white. They are transparent.

Hi Jersey Girl, My neighbours cat Felix loves playing with Helix. He paws at them and then runs away. I once had them, the Escargot variety in a French restaurant. Tasted of garlic butter.
It seems, however, that they have come to my garden for revenge, along with their 'homeless' relatives the slugs. Lettuces, geraniums and anything with a nice green leaf is left looking like badly made lace.
What is interesting though is the amount of different varieties one can find around, all with different shell colours and markings.
What do your students do with them?
