See the statement of pretentious moron and academic parasite George Lakoff here.

I never said that, and I'm pretty sure I said that in all probability, the shooter had nothing to do with either. But that is beside the point really. My point is that the hate rhetroic is getting pretty damn thick, and several acts of violence have already come from Glenn Beck followers. Palin's gunsight map was considered controversial when it was first discovered, and it was ironic that Gifford is the politician who went on record in condemning it.

I don't like Glenn Beck and I don't support Sarah Palin for president. However, those on the left have also published maps with targets and have even wished Sarah Palin dead. I agree with you about the level of discourse coming from all sides, though.

Clinton used the bombing in Oklahoma City to attack conservatives. Incidents like the Fort Hood murders, where a Muslim convert murdered 13, are inconvenient to leftists and they try to forget them.
I think the most eggregious example of this behavior is Bush & Cheney's use of 9/11 as a justification for their pet project - invading Iraq.

I think Grima Wormtongue (Cheney) deserves the lion's share of the blame for that.

Undoubtedly.

Not with a copy of "Mien Kampf" in his bedroom. I'm guessing he'll turn out to be a paranoid schizophrenic. Still, lefties don't do the shootings. Always righties (with the possible exception of Oswald).

My European relatives have asked me at times why Americans are fixated with owning guns. I tell them that it's John Wayne movies.
Strange that the average guy in the U.S is allowed to own an assault weapon (only useful for killing people) just because a group of adolescent wannabes think that owning military weapons is "so cool". Why not grenades and rocket launchers?

Uh, that doesn't make someone a leftist Richard, good grief. That sounds exactly something Beck and Hannity would say.
The fact is this guy is probably closer to a Tea Party activist than anything else. He hates government and he complained that his school was unconstitutional. SOunds like virtually every Right Winger on my Facebook.
...Sitting in the audience, unacknowledged and unmentioned by Obama, was the sheriff of Pima County, Clarence Dupnik, who spoke out Saturday, attributing the attempted assassination of a prominent Democrat to the promotion of bigotry and political violence by the right-wing media and politicians.
Dupnik’s bluntness made him a target of the ultra-right, with the Wall Street Journal, Fox News, Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh all denouncing his remarks. In his speech in Tucson, Obama effectively joined in this campaign, offering a full-fledged amnesty for the right...
