The idea of attacking Iran is just unthinkable. The Persians in Iran are much different from the people in Iraq and Afghanistan. Generally they aren't fans of their crazy leaders. They're on the internet. They're more educated. They're the most modernized nation in that region. Every Iranian I meet or speak with, whether in person or online, appears to be a huge fan of Western society.
But leave it to someone like Romney to bring up the war option. Republicans live for this crap. They always have to find excuses to beef up military and antagonize other countries. I swear these folks love to watch bombs drop on television. It is sad when we have reached a point in society and technology where people can sit watching FOX News with a bag of popcorn, while our war plane bomb the hell out of another country.
Personally I don't care if Iran develops a nuclear weapon. I don't think they're any more likely to use one than we are, but they know what kind of diplomatic power comes with joining the nuclear club. Who wouldn't want that? And by what moral authority do we presume to tell other countries that they have to just sit idly by and be militarily inferior to us so we can still push them around whenever we want?

The funny thing is that Romney's approach does not seem to be any different than Obama's. Both threaten military intervention, and both favor sanctions.
And would you please stop with the BS insults of conservatives? You just sound like bcspace in reverse.
