I'm a Liberal, but all my landfill bags have dog poop in them. I do recycle the rest.

I'm looking for a better solution, but reusable dog poop bags don't seem practical.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

"Guns don't kill people...people kill people." "Plastic bags don't create shoplifters...people create shoplifters." Goose and gander.

You've got it bassackwards. The comparison works only if the perception of having, not banning, plastic bags increases shoplifting.

ldsdaqs...if you reread my post you will find I did not advocate any kind of banning and it is perhaps typical that you would seize on that as an issue rather than addressing my point which was asimple one that who could argue that environmentally the world would be better off without plastic bags. It would likely be better off without lots of things but the subject is plastic bags. But then what do I know, right... since according to you I am a combination of being stupid, a moron, and a liar (names you have called me in what passes for discussion from you). I do, however, have the privilege on this board of associating with humble, brilliant, all-knowing oracles of truth such as yourself so maybe there's some hope for me yet
