Oh, it's just a worn-out rhetorical strategy, where you keep asking people 'Do you know, have you ever been to a , did you ever meet a, did you know that ... ' for ever until your interlocutor finally answers 'no' to something, and then you say 'See! I knew that you hadn't got the faintest idea how things are!' and proclaim victory.

Bach - just go ahead and state the evidence you rely on, with sources, then make out your argument, and then people can decide whether it stands up. No-one is obliged to answer any questions to help you on your way.

It's a small time hedge and favor to a nephew. And I am open to being a forecasted idiot because I knew the short term outcome! Beyond the banking and cash control exposure issues, this industry has created a pick up demand for black market. Subgenious is very correct. The taxes and fees have pushed the street price over to over $350 - $400 per ounce for anything w a THC content that the general losers or well-to-do smokers want to buy/smoke/purchase. This has increased the amount of product being brought to the market at $100-$200 per ounce. And long term, idiots like me investing in these dispensaries will be rolled (no pun intended) out of their perceived monopolies in these states by Big pharmaceutical if the Feds ever let the FDIC allow it into banking.

I did it to help out my sisters son, can help him to some degree w the cash accumulation issues, but long term this is destined for a dead end.

Without a change in Federal law Possession of Marijuana is a Federal Felony Crime. Possession with intent to distribute is another Federal Felony Crime. The Fed's don't give a rats behind about you plans to profit from its sale, even in Nevada. You are looking at a potential long term prison sentence. Make sure you put that in your plans.

subgenius wrote:how come idiots, like yourself, can never understand what they are reading because they insist upon having a particular insight into "what it really means"? It seems rather obvious that if he would have used the word "caused" if that is what he had meant...crazy thing about journalist, eh?

So if he isn't trying to say these are marijuana caused incidents, then what's the point of the article? God you're one dumb mother- idiot. The title of his piece is "Marijuana devastated Colorado, don’t legalize it nationally" and yet he presented not one shred of evidence t support that. Just a bunch of bald assertions, the kind you find on these idiotic religious blogs.

seems to clearly state that "marijuana-related fatalities" have doubled. Don't know if it can dumbed down anymore than that.

Well no crap Sherlock. When public consumption of XYZ has increased 100%, then "XYZ related incidents" are going to double. As has already been pointed out, "marijuana related" only means someone involved in the incident has smoked pot sometime within the past month. But this moron writing this article doesn't disclose that important fact, but instead goes on to argue this is hard evidence that Colorado is being "devastated." This is FOX News level deception that only morons like you buy into.

I'm sure tweedle dip crap and tweedle dumb crap will be sure to start a modern temperance movement and also protest prescription opioids any day now...

You think Bach, being the internationally renowned entrepreneur he is, would be a strong advocate for US marijuana businesses. Americans making money, growing businesses, helping move our economy forward. That's right up Bach's alley.

what i gather from both your post here and the how you argue in other posts, is that while anecdotal evidence is surely valid for whatever cause you see as fit it must surely be invalid for any cause you deem unfit.
Thanks for the clarification!
