I'm more of a Larry "Wheels" Williams guy myself (personal life issues aside), still obscenely strong but more aesthetically pleasing, chalk it up to my vanity and complete inability to grow a beard. If we're going old school I'd take Arnold at his peak.

I think the best I ever did in my so-called prime was 515... once. This kind of stuff is absolutely mind-boggling to me.
I feel that, I long ago had to move away from pushing the upper limits of my strength just to preserve my body, usually those big boys don't live super long lives. Would be awesome to get to feel that powerful without all the long term consequences/requirements.

Since you guys only get their abilities for one day, what would you for a day with a strongman's abilities? Would you get a nice workout in, or would you eat a gallon of chili in a sitting?

I would pick up ridiculously heavy things. Then, I would put those ridiculously heavy things down. I would probably pick them up again after that.

This is the only correct answer. Also I'm fairly certain I can eat a gallon of chilli in one sitting already.
I read this genie-wish scenario pretty literally though. I figured I wouldn't get to enjoy anything other than the satisfaction of the experience after the fact, no jump starts on my workout routine or a new language or anything .

Same.
If there were going to be some kind of residuals, I'd probably go with Derek Paravicini.

Hrm. I chose the language thing because I kinda thought my brain would hold onto some of the learning I would experience. Hey, MeDotOrg. Under your scenario how much of what do we get to keep from assuming the assets of someone else for the day? Like, do Steuss and Xeno retain one day’s worth of training, and then they’re sore because they were just lifting, or do they get a +5 strength enhancement?

Anyway, I was thinking if I have the physical gifts of one human being for a day, it would be Bo Jackson at the peak of his skills.
Did you ever hear the story of a man seeing Bo Jackson wading in a creek with his shoes off. He smiled and did a backflip while standing on the rocks. Just thinking about the takeoff and landing makes my joints ache.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.
