Honestly, I haven't felt this much despair since the day after Trump was elected. This is bad news, people.

My biggest immediate fear is that even if Biden wins the election by a comfortable margin, that won't stop Republicans from contesting the results in court. I have little confidence that the highly partisan court that will probably be in place by then can be counted on to rule in favor of Biden, in that case, no matter how great his margin of victory.

How can you say that Norway, in particular, is a ruined country, when it consistently ranks as one of the top 5 happiest countries on earth, has a much higher per capita GDP than we do, lower poverty rate than we have, lower crime rate, better and less expensive healthcare, much smaller proportion of its people in prison, etc.
And, believe it or not, free enterprise, capitalism and entrepreneurship are still alive and well in Norway.
I highly doubt ajax has ever been out of the country, and has simply bought into the false American exceptionalism so popular among the cult of idiocy.

I don't give a fu-ck what ajax thinks or wants (except to the extent that his views represent a small, idiotic minority in the US). The real problem is that this country has a president who has politicized public health. He's made a certain portion of the population idiotically think that wearing a mask is an infringement of their civil liberty. In other words, he's made the dumb people in this country even dumber.
I want to live in a country that doesn't have so many idiots, everyone's health is at risk. Plenty of other countries have figured it out and are practically back to normal. This country insists on following a psychopathic moron.

Good point. Even Russia and China have, in effect, acknowledged the inherent failure of communism as an economic system, and have become just as capitalistic and mercenary as the U.S.A. and other Western countries, though China (in particular) is probably loath to admit that.
People sometimes like to make a nice definition of themselves they want other to believe, but it never works well. You keep defining yourself by your words and actions. You know, like those words you posted on storm-front and a link to a video attacking someone who just died. If you don't want people to think you are an asshole, stop acting like one.
