I've been commenting on these developmental issues in Trump for years now. He suffered trauma as a child due to the sudden separation from his mother and THAT'S why his emotional development was thwarted at toddler level where he remains emotionally stuck. He's a 6ft tall adult toddler.

I think that's a power and control issue on his part. A desire to control and dominate...anything. Like the news cycle or a teenager. He's a deviant that's what I know. A deviant with no impulse control at all...toddler level. He's psychologically complex that is for sure.

I don't think he's that complex at all. He's massively insecure and as a result, requires constant attention. He's also psychotic, so he doesn't give a crap about anyone else but himself. That's really all there is to him. He's a selfish child who sees nobody but himself. Done.
ETA: I hate it when people try to make complex explanations for Trump, as though he's deep and tortured due to his thoughtfulness/"genius". That's total BS. He's a shallow idiot who only follows his id. Everyone who attributes more to him than that is a damned moron when it comes to basic people reading. Yes. Trump is a psychopath. I don't think he thinks anyone is real but himself. He's an unapologetic asshole because nobody else matters to him in any genuine way, not even his kids.
