I have a clear understanding of progressives and recognize that they played a huge role in the Democrats' loss in the election. Progressives and their Marxist ideas are driving American men of all skin colors to join the Republican party in large numbers. Progressivism is fueled by animosity, and men have grown weary of being targeted simply for their gender. Progressives seem to misunderstand that uplifting women requires collaboration rather than undermining men, and as a result, men are beginning to respond by supporting Republican candidates. When a political movement like the progressive movement expresses disdain for masculinity, targets white individuals for their race, criticizes western civilization, perceives the land they inhabit as stolen, rejects God, and embraces hatred as a core aspect of their identity, individuals will inevitably become weary of engaging with such ineffective groups.

Many individuals aspire to lead a joyful and meaningful life, yet Progressivism does not equate to happiness or fulfillment.

As you just proved by this post, Huckleberry is right. You have no real understanding of progressives, nor even of Marxism, if you think the two are equivalent.

What do you think about Tulsi Gabbard saying in March that there wasn't a nuclear weapon program in Iran and her about face when Israel wanted to attack Iran? What about what Marjorie Taylor-Greene says about Trump failing MAGA by going against his no war campaign promises? Do you have a problem with Israel and AIPAC having an outsized influence on our foreign policy or do you think that is a thing? Would you like it if China decided that our government was corrupt and a danger to their way of life and then started bombing when we wouldn't give up our nukes? I'd also like to know if you believe that God wants us to support Israel no matter what they do. Finally, do you think our toppling of the Iranian government back in 1954 and installing the Shah and his murderous secret police because they wanted to keep the oil instead of letting the British and us to continue to exploit their resources has anything to do with why Iran isn't bowing down to our empire?

I am going to pass on most of the questions you are asking me. Perhaps over a cup of coffee, face to face, I would be willing to have these discussions - Not here though.

I will offer a few short opinions relating to your question asking me if I believe that God wants us to support Israel no matter what they do.

Biblical Isreal (a chosen people) is not the same thing as the modern nation state of Israel that began in 1948. Many of my beloved and sincere Christian brethren, directly because of a very modern theological framework called dispensationalism, has attached themselves to modern day Israel. So much so that they use modern events in the region to suggest end time prophecy and they use this to promote a third temple to be built in Israel. This novel idea (dispensationalism) that no ECF's ever mentioned, is completely absent during the first 1900 years or so of Christianity's birth. It is, unfortunately in my opinion, an American (mostly) recent evangelical construct - Something we evangelicals ought to own.

In addition: The Biblical promises made to Israel (A people) has nothing to do with the modern nation state of Israel. Biblical passages (Old and New Testament) speak clearly that these promises (inheritances) are for those who are in Christ. Believing Jews (like the first several thousand Christians) and believing gentiles, who have been grafted into the olive branch of Israel.

Having said that: I do support Israel, and their right to exist. The elephant in the room (which many don't seem to want to discuss) is what Radical Islamists want to see happen to Israel (Jews) and America (Westerners).

I don't believe that people are one-dimensional, and I don't see people behaving in a one-dimensional way on this board. Sometimes it takes arguing through the unpleasantness to see that people are more complicated than we sometimes give them credit for, but each of us is a flawed person with good points and bad points at the end of the day. Some people do make it harder to find their good points because of the persona they have adopted here, true.

Mine: Trump wins the electoral college fairly easily (300 plus) and Trump, for the first time in a long time, wins the national majority vote (by a fairly slim margin)
