You really want to understand?Whiskey wrote: ↑Thu Sep 25, 2025 9:05 pmJFC.I Have Questions wrote: ↑Thu Sep 25, 2025 8:35 pmAre you confident there will be another Presidential Election in the same format as the past, and that Trump won’t manipulate a third term?
Why? Just why? And, if you subscribe to the conspiracy, why do you not just say what you are confident in, or not? Seriously, IHQ. Why not just say that you don't believe there will be an election, or that there will, rather than pin some jackassed BS on ceeboo? Why?
I really want to understand this form of communication that relies on throwing some stupid crap at your adversary, waiting for the response, and having some cooked up crap prepared to show that ceeboo is FITH. Help me understand why you do that, instead of just saying what you think.
Okay, pull up a chair: The first thing you need to understand is that he wasn't asking me a question (I know, I saw the misleading question mark too). People often ask other people questions - most of the time, they ask a person directly and sincerely because they are interested in that specific person's take about any given topic.
None of this is true with IHAQ. He isn't interested in my take on this question or any of the questions he has asked me on this board. Why would he be? He is certain that I am a fool concerning politics and a fool concerning my personal beliefs around biblical Christianity. More than that, he is certain that he if far brighter, more informed, and much wiser than the person he pretends to ask questions of.
I rarely reply to, what he believes are really clever questions these days. They are not clever at all, they are largely mean-spirited, insincere, inartful and quite sophomoric. Just like the one we are discussing here.
It's not an attempt to communicate at all. Weird for a "discussion board", I know, but those days are long gone.
Here is the most important piece to the puzzle in my opinion: People like IHAQ rarely (if ever) are willing to express what they believe deep in the gut, as an individual. Posting as a mere member of a larger group is easy - and it's safe - but it rarely promotes personal growth.
Understand?

That pretty much sums up the majority of ceeboo's posts. When I first started reading his posts, he explained he had been banned from multiple other discussion forums, and that's how he landed here.ceeboo wrote: ...largely mean-spirited, insincere, inartful and quite sophomoric...

To be fair I thought my question about the election was pretty straightforward. It wasn’t a trick question. You gave a flippant response. Okay. I thought Kishmumen gave a good summation of what might happen. My own personal view is that I think Trump will do anything and everything to hold onto power, either directly or via family. I also think the American people are likely to let him.ceeboo wrote: ↑Thu Sep 25, 2025 9:55 pmYou really want to understand?Whiskey wrote: ↑Thu Sep 25, 2025 9:05 pmJFC.

Now here’s an interesting thought, if you had your time over again, knowing what you know now about Trump’s agenda and outcomes, would you still vote for him?

He went from posting incessantly trite nonsense to aggressive-passive crap posting. My theory is that when Minnesota state representative Melissa Hortman was assassinated in a shooting at her home alongside her husband, Mark, in addition to state senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, being shot and seriously injured in their home affected him so deeply he had in depth phone calls with his family and now he’s ready to take up arms against the kind of people that would do such a thing.Marcus wrote: ↑Thu Sep 25, 2025 10:05 pmThat pretty much sums up the majority of ceeboo's posts. I appreciate your analogy, Ceeboo, but I believe it goes much deeper than that, in my view. For the progressives, it's not about swapping out players, coaches, or front office staff. When I often say that progressivism is, in fact, a modern form of Marxism, I truly mean it. I have a deep love for this country that is hard to put into words, and I believe you feel the same way. However, one only needs to read posts from Captain Progressive, also those by Bishop Schmo and DrCamnPP, along with a few others, to grasp that the Marxist progressives on the board genuinely despise America and its values.ceeboo wrote: ↑Thu Sep 25, 2025 12:42 pmIt's all quite bizarre.Hound of Heaven wrote: ↑Thu Sep 25, 2025 11:27 amAs millions of Democrats and independents register as Republicans over the past year, with hundreds of thousands doing so after Charlie Kirk's assassination, it’s clear how the actions of progressives like Canpakes, DrCamnPP, Bishop Schmo, Captain Progressive a.k.a. Res Ipsa, and Marcus the Carcass reflect a heart full of hatred, which is one of the main reasons democrats are leaving the party!
You choose to post on a discussion board a thread intended to uplift Democrats simply because one state representative switched parties? Could you share your thoughts on how you find solace in the situation where one Republican has switched parties, while millions of Democrats are transitioning to the Republican side?
Perhaps a visual representation would help you understand that Trump has significantly weakened the Democrat party, while he and the Republicans are actively registering thousands of voters daily to support the Republican cause. This image illustrates the effectiveness of the Republicans in registering and mobilizing voters to the polls in contrast to the Democrats. It's a significant change, Gunnar!
It is important to recognize that when you hear from these radical progressives who appear here, individuals such as Canpakes, Captain Progressive also known as Res Ipsa, and Marcus the Carcass, they are engaging in a suicide dance that leads them directly toward disaster! They would prefer to die for their extreme cult beliefs than exist in a reality where their ideology is perceived as a hateful Marxist death cult.
Could you please explain why you feel reassured by the party switch of a single state representative, especially considering that millions of voters are transitioning from Democrat to Republican daily?

Consider this analogy: Super Bowl Sunday, the Enlightened Blue Protestors are facing the Red Nazi Fascists. For several months leading up to the big game, 97% of all game coverage is glorifying the Enlightened BP's. They are all projecting that the Enlightened BP's with destroy the Red NF's. A few weeks before the big game, in an effort to message an upcoming victory, the Enlightened BP's lure in some very popular actors, singers, and entertainers who all express their certainty that victory is right around the corner.
The game begins: In the first quarter, the Red Nazi Fascist's take an early lead. Commentators tell their audience not to worry, that was just the first drive and the there is a lot of time left on the clock. Halftime arrives and the Red Nazis have a significant lead on the scoreboard. The commentators, with a bit less confidence, tell their audiences again how much time is left and to not worry. The game ends - The Red Nazi Fascists have destroyed the Enlightened Blue Protestors. The final score: Red NF's 92 - Enlightened BP's 3. Refusing to live in reality, the commentators insist that the reason for this final score is because the Enlightened BP's quarterback is a woman and that this woman has darker skin that than the Red NF's QB. This narrative will continue to present day.
What could/should a team do after getting slaughtered? Look at the game tape. Locate the plays that didn't work and stop calling that same play over and over. Look at the coaching staff, the owners, the players. Start evaluating each person on the team based on ability and talent. alone. Fire some players. Find better players. Call different plays. If you don't, you should not be surprised when you get slaughtered again.
If the Enlightened Blue Protestors refuse to do some serious self-reflection, and if they refuse to replace their current players with new players, and if they refuse to start calling different plays, they will, without doubt, get slaughtered again.
2026/2028 will be here soon enough. We shall see.
My guess: There will be no new plays. No new players, No self-reflection. Rather, you will see doubling/tripling down on all of the thigs that the majority of America has already rejected.
The negative attitude that these Marxist progressives have embraced is evident, their misery has transformed into a badge of virtue for them. It misleadingly them to think that by perceiving themselves as suffering more than others, they are deeper, wiser, and more authentic. Ceeboo, they harbor resentment towards individuals like you because of your happiness, perceiving joyful people as superficial, which in turn elevates their sense of superiority in their own despair.
Many individuals recognize that Marxist progressivism uses suffering as a tool. Their preferred methods include whining, subtle hostility, and undermining emotions. They think your happiness should be restricted, as if your true joy signifies a loss for them. Essentially, they perceive your joy as a challenge to their perspective on life.
As someone who does not identify as Christian, I would like to share my perspective on how your Christian beliefs are perceived. When the Marxist progressives on the board encounter your genuine affection for Christianity and Christ, it provokes them and they become envious. It serves as a reminder of what is missing in their everyday existence and what they choose not to pursue. Rather than engaging in self reflection, they respond with hostility, ridiculing, belittling, and attempting to undermine whatever you express due to their own inner turmoil.
Marxist progressivism thrives on the presence of misery, because it creates a sense of shared experience and reduces feelings of isolation among individuals. They consistently strive to pull others down in order to evade facing their own emotional void. And remember Ceeboo, when you post here and one of the Marxist progressives responds to you with a mean or insulting comment, they are doing it because your happiness is viewed with suspicion by them, they see joy as denial, a distraction, or a betrayal of the truth. Their truth is founded on suffering and misery.

Re: Republican rep flips, joins Democratic Party
The people on this board you are dunking on have always seemed pretty happy to me. I have definitely met the kind of hair-shirt-wearing "Progressive" to which you refer, but I don't see them here on this board. I mean, just 'cause they don't like you or Trump doesn't make them unhappy people. And, I don't see many people who are really envious of Ceeboo. I should say that I know people here, including your "Captain Progressive," who really like Ceeboo, but I don't see big envy of Ceeboo's faith. And that may have something to do with the fact that he does not go into any real detail on the topic of his faith. So, I can only interpret this as another one of your bizarre screeds that has a very loose and creative relationship with the world around you.Hound of Heaven wrote: ↑Fri Sep 26, 2025 11:14 amI appreciate your analogy, Ceeboo, but I believe it goes much deeper than that, in my view.
