Yea, me neither.

How about that. That makes two of us who are not consistent with the stereotypical response that is assumed about females.

Wow. It almost makes one wonder if the stereotypes might be .......just stereotypes, and not actually true. :o
I'm not a screamer. If I wanted to scream, my voice couldn't handle it. I can't even sing high notes. I don't know why I'm sharing this. What key do the Stones sing in? I'm somewhere in that range. Like I have a guy voice...only not.
I sing second alto in our church choir. I'm not a screamer either.

Interestingly enough, when I need to get the attention of the 75 or so students in the large amphitheater area where I teach my math review courses, I don't scream. I also don't need a microphone, because apparently my low and loud voice carries to the back of the room.

I was forced to sing soprano in the youth choir at church. Too high. Then alto. Too low. I actually sing comfortably as a tenor. Not that I sing well...but that's where my voice is comfortable. I believe what you say about your voice carrying to the back of the hall. I think you probably know how to modulate your voice to get the desired result as well.

Sam Cooke is a god. Write that down. I can sing all of his songs quite comfortably.

What he does with his voice here. I can do that, too. Probably not as good. But yeah. I can get that soulful vibe going on.

Define "rampage". Now. I've seen at least one poster who I thought went on rampages. Not on this board. Said male poster shall remain nameless. When he went on what I would call rampages, he flew all over the board attacking usually the same poster (usually me) by tagging various threads or posts, and posting accusations as the title of his post, making threads float to the top in order to sort of machine gun people (usually me), basically manipulating the main forum so that all the attacks against folks (usually me) were at the top so that as you looked down the main forum all you saw was a line of attacks (usually with my name in them) and if you opened any given thread, you'd see a whole threaded view the post titles of which were devoted to attacking people (usually me), like I'm talking crazy crap level machine gunning type posts.

But the thing is. I figured out how to do the same thing or respond one:one so tended to exasperate this person.

Okay whatever. Let's look at a definition for "rampage".

verb
(especially of a large group of people) rush around in a violent and uncontrollable manner.
"several thousand demonstrators rampaged through the city"

noun
a period of violent and uncontrollable behavior, typically involving a large group of people.

So Lem. What I am getting here is that Analytics perceived you as producing the effect of a large group of people rushing around, behaving violently and uncontrollably.

Wow. You are some kinda kick ass woman over there. Too bad about the brain fog.

That was wild! I actually liked the very end where he was repeating his name. Thanks!

I am not at all sure I've ever seen him in a role. Will have to look that up since...I'm not sleeping. ;-)

ETA: I just looked up his film work. This is the only thing I'm familiar with and I didn't know it was him.

In 2012, Cumberbatch provided the voice and motion-capture for both Smaug the Dragon and the Necromancer in An Unexpected Journey, the first instalment of The Hobbit film series based on the novel by J. R. R. Tolkien.[77] He reprised his roles as Smaug and the Necromancer for The Desolation of Smaug (2013) and The Battle of the Five Armies (2014).[78][79] For the motion-capture aspect of the films, he used a suit and facial markers to highlight the dragon's expressions and movements. Cumberbatch told Total Film "You just have to lose your crap on a carpeted floor, in a place that looks a little bit like a mundane government building. It was just me as well, with four static cameras and all the sensors."[79]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benedict_Cumberbatch#Film

I have just read through this thread.

I am a man and my children include both genders. I have lived and worked with a lot of women in my life.

I suggest to Analytics, who is a clever and well-disposed person, that the appropriate response would have been for him simply to say "Sorry, I lost my temper there and wrote something that, on rereading, I wish I had not written." None of that "I only did it because she ..." stuff at all.
