I realize that you are not capable of looking anything on planet earth without adding layers and layers of your personal political agenda and wild Trump hysteria to it. Fortunately, I am capable of reading a comment like Fonda's and condemning it on its own merit. Its really sad that you can't.
So, actually putting toddlers in internment camps and subjecting them to horrific abuse is "Trump hysteria" but frustrated tough-guy posturing on Twitter is violence that is shocking to the mind. Is that your take here?
My point is that if we are talking about the dangerous threat of leftist violence, and you react to Ajax's linked example of a once famous actor impotently saying that Trump's son should be treated abusively so Melania Trump knows what it is like, this seems rather insignificant in comparison to the real violence of actually subjecting children to severe mistreatment. The specific example chosen ironically highlights just how much more dangerous the threat of alt-right inspired violence is.

Here's the link:

And just click on the downloadable PDF file.
The point isn't that Mr. Fonda said something despicable. Of course it was. The point was Ajax's list is absurd when compared to the reality of right-wing violence, harassment, threats, and political discrimination.
Take for example the issue of abortion. The fact, THE FACT, that angry mobs do follow abortion clinic workers, and stand outside said clinics screaming at would-be patrons and have actually firebombed some of said clinics in acts of astounding violence. These people are republicans, at best, and at worst members of even more radical right-wing groups.
The FACT that children are interred into camps, torn from their parents, is an order of magnitude beyond whatever outrage and disgust you feel about a washed up Hollywood actor tweets at Trump.
Hope you see the difference from at least my perspective.

I read a laundry list of claims that were posted by a board member (99% of them made me laugh) NONE OF THE CLAIMS I READ HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH Trump - OR TODDLERS - OR HORRIFIC ABUSE!
One of the comments that I read (the Fonda comment) struck me enough to ask "is this legit?" I looked it up and found it was legit. I OFFERED MY PERSONAL CONDEMNATION OF THE DISGUSTING FONDA COMMENT. you need not agree.
THAT IS MY TAKE!
I responded to your take rhetorically noting that the Trump admin's actions are far worse, almost incomprehensible worse, than the example you found shockingly bad. Of course putting kids in internment camps is much worse than saying that someone oughtta put the camp runner's child in the camp. This is an obviously relevant comment when the entire subject of discussion is Ajax's belief in the threat of leftist revolutionary violence to civil society and how examples like this show it. You could've said, "yep" to that, but instead you accused me of injecting "Trump hysteria" in my reply.
The claim you are responding to has to do with Trump, toddlers, and horrific abuse. Peter Fonda's asinine gasp of frustration can only be understood in the context of replying to it. He was calling Melania callous about it and his way of doing that is saying something terrible should happen to her son so she knows what it is like and will do something about it. Not cool, but there's a context to all of this.

Sunni is a religious subcategory of Muslim. It's like saying "Protestant." It's not a political party. And yeah, that might be a relevant thing to point out if sectarian reasons play a role in the attack.
Fundamentalist Christian social conservatism plays a large role in the staggering amount of threatening harassment and occasional terrorism, abortion providers and those that support or use them get. That seems relevant in the context of talking about the dangers of political violence. Pointing out that they're largely Republican, or on the fringes of the Republican party, is less relevant, though it sometimes is an important thing to note depending on context.

Are we not allowed to offer our opinions about any topic unless they are compared and measured against the topic that you are forcing upon me at this moment? Why aren't you insisting that I compare the Fonda quote to Normandy Beach?
Are you aware that the Peter Fonda quote is a reaction to and meant to mirror Trump's child interment?

I didn't accuse you of injecting 'Trump hysteria" in your reply.
I clearly demonstrated that you are not capable of reading or replying to anything with balance and that you consistently and clearly inject "wild Trump hysteria" (which is much worse than just "Trump hysteria") into almost every post you make.
Sure. You don't see the connection between the subject of ideological advocacy for violence, Peter Fonda's reaction to Trump admin internment and, uh, Trump admin internment? That's just me injecting that subject out of the blue?
