Oh, for god's sake. You're going to make the generalization that all democrats are racist because of what a few jerks said on Twitter?

Stories must be created somehow. Taking facts and converting them to fiction is actually taught in creative writing.

And as I mentioned earlier, the answer to that question is no. all Democrats are racist because of policy, these reactions merely being an outward sign.

To rephrase the point I tried to make humorously in an earlier post, if Democrats are so racist why do they get the vast majority of African-American and Latino votes?

BC, why isn't the Church taking a stance on these Democrats?

Ah, now we're getting somewhere.

So "racism," as you define it, isn't a bad thing at all. It's just noticing that people of one race are different from others (an obvious and undeniable fact of life). Okay. I was under the impression that you meant it as a bad thing (as most people do), not realizing that you had redefined the term for your own purposes.

put whatever value you want on it, it does not change the fact that you distinguishing a group of people, for whatever cause, is racist...and by your own admission, that is a "bad thing". Just because you are not lynching someone because of it does not absolve you of that attitude.
The fundamental motive exists in you as it did in George Wallace....his actions were just more elaborate, and easier to pass judgment on, than yours.

I don't know where you found this "admission." But I suspect you are sitting on the source.

Which brings me to this:
The fundamental motive exists in you as it did in George Wallace....his actions were just more elaborate, and easier to pass judgment on, than yours.

I'm white. My nephew is Hispanic. I guess that means I'm a racist for pointing that out.

Just for noticing, actually. We need to all be more like Stephen Colbert: "I don't see race. People tell me I'm white, and I believe them, because I own a lot of Jimmy Buffett albums." (It's my day for quoting Daily Show correspondents.)
