Thanks, LittleNipper.
"Remember the Flowers" is touching and I especially appreciated the beautiful pictures in the "Try to Remember" video.

When I was sitting on the deck of a cruise ship, enjoying the endlessly beautiful sea, I was listening to an i-pod with songs my husband had put together. This song came on and really touched my heart because I feel committed to God, as if I've made promises to stand for truth no matter what... (Which tends to be a lonely existence.)

"There's a love that's strong enough- strong enough to lift us all."
Most I resonate with & I love his (Brett Raymond's) voice & wish he'd make more similar music.

You might like this one... Bitter sweet broken hallelujia...

I don't watch videos and podcasts. By default. My time is more worthy.

I can read a WRITTEN text in 1/10 (1/15, 1/20 ? ) time of watching a video or a podcast.
Sorry, folks. You should watch any crap uploaded.
- Whenever a poet or preacher, chief or wizard spouts gibberish, the human race spends centuries deciphering the message. - Umberto Eco
- To assert that the earth revolves around the sun is as erroneous as to claim that Jesus was not born of a virgin. - Cardinal Bellarmine at the trial of Galilei

One can always listen to a YouTube video play while doing something else. It is called multitasking.

Anyway, this one is especially for ludwigm. It is fitting I think. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fWyzwo1xg0

Here are the "words" so that you can read them in 1/10, 1/15, 1/20 time...

Hello darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence

In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone
'Neath the halo of a street lamp
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence

And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never share
And no one dared
Disturb the sound of silence

"Fools", said I, "You do not know
Silence like a cancer grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take my arms that I might reach you"
But my words, like silent raindrops fell
And echoed
In the wells of silence

And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon god they made
And the sign flashed out its warning
In the words that it was forming
And the sign said, "The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls"
And whispered in the sounds of silence

Congratulations, LittleNipper !!!

This is one of my pets. Really. I think we could be good buddies - without the well known antagonisms.
