Pro idealism bias perhaps? Kinda bums me out. Thanks much mods. Well done.

Where was it? I always use the view new post function, so which forum the thread is assigned to doesn't really affect my reading.

Yeah, I think I shot my own foot on that builder bit. Gadianton made me pay for it.

Where are you at Res Ipsa, on the materialism - idealism spectrum?

Terrestial. It's really the only place I hang out. I'm qualified to listen to politics on CNN, but not to talk it over here in S.P. I like reading 'Bible, verse by verse', but only for abut 10 secs. up in Celestial. Shulem rants in Telestial are fun, but again, only for about 10 - 20 seconds.

How do we perceive the Universe without consciousness? Could the universe exist without consciousness? Perception of anything: God, Universe, Self, all come from consciousness.

Which ones weren't moved? If they have nothing to do with Mormonism, then point them out to me and I'll move them, too.

Pro idealism bias perhaps?

No. Pro-proper forum location bias is all.

Kinda bums me out.

It shouldn't.

Thanks much mods. Well done.

You're welcome.

Oh right, that thread too.

How so?

Oh right, that thread too.

Threads about the workings of the board are FAIR game for the Terrestrial Forum.

Materialist, I think. I don’t think that the existence of our sun is dependent on the prior existence of mind. I think that our consciousness is a result of material interactions that occur in the brain.

Is the universe conscious?

Since humans are a part of the universe, and we're conscious, then at least part of the universe is conscious.

That is, the part that thinks. Just like our whole bodies aren't conscious... just the parts that think (that's right, Johnson... I'm talking about you).
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
