Did they all have bump stocks...do you have a link where I can read more?

Twelve of the rifles had bump stock. What are you getting at?

What, FOX News didn't mention any of this?

Well, I highly doubt this is true at all.

They tend to have a very proof text, cherry picked and emotion based narrative...rather like many liberals who don't seem in the least aware of DC vs Heller.

LOL... I 1000% agree, there are a lot of ignorant people on both sides of the issue, and I certainly do not claim to be an expert. And I am sure Doc knows his guns, that is good.

Aside from the gun, what are some of the underlying issues can we discuss and/or take to help these kinds of things from happening?

Where do you stand on arming teachers? Are we safer if teachers are packing?

Funny how every youtube video of bump stock includes some guy shooting targets with them with little problem. This guy complains about accuracy but still manages to unload a full clip into a human shaped target at 50ft away: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCx1rgxXVKA

So what the hell are you talking about?

I'm just passingly familiar with weapons. I've only fired with regularity in the military the M1911, Glock22 .40, M16A2, M4, M60, M249, and Barrett 50 cal. I've owned and fired a Ruger 9mm, Springfield XD .40, Kel-Tec 9mm, and an air rifle .122.

I've never enjoyed firing weapons, To be honest. I've been shot with air pellets, sim rounds with regularity while assigned to USASOC, and have had live rounds fired at me. Let me tell you something. It's extremely sobering when you think you're good to go when maneuvering and a sim round hits you in the mouth. Not only is it painful, but you realize just how quick life is over when a bullet strikes your body.

I don't advocate disarming people because I'm a pussy. I advocate disarming people because I know just how effective guns, rifles, and weapons are at killing people.

What is that opinion based on? This situation the best way to kill more people is to fire bullets as fast as you can. He didn't need accuracy as he was firing on a large group of people. I would agree in other situations the bump stock would be less effective, but not in this one if it fires more rounds quickly. He obviously thought so if he had 12 of them.

That's my bad, then. I got the impression that you were saying that conservatives, who want little regulation (such as you), know more about firearms than other conservatives and progressives, who want to regulate them (such as Doc and most of the rest of the world).

In regards to Doc, he stated very clearly he wanted all guns banned from the general pubic, except for certain types of hunting (or something along those lines).

He was in the military and I assume a hunter at one point, or 8 point according to his avatar.|

I should ask him if he is a hunter I suppose? Maybe with a bow?

Try to shoot one, and you will see. I never said they were not devastating, in fact I said it was...read what I wrote Kevin. by the way, the guy basically said what I said, he does not like the BS, and I think that is why the NRA would concede removing it.

I would also bet the spent hundreds of dollars in ammo fine tuning how to use it.

Because it is really no reliable Themis...this would be debated and never settled. A semi auto is a devastating weapon and far more dependable and far more accurate.

I think that the NRA to even give it consideration might be the most compelling evidence.

Anyways I'll give you the last word...it is my opinion and the opinion of many others, I respect yours also, and you may be right. I hope we never have to fin out who is right.
