Re: Federal budget deficit increases 79% in July
I do want to make a quick point ref the OP. Our lending institutions are still packaging mortgages much like they did the last time we had a huge real estate crash, AND they're doing the same thing with student loans. This will require some tough regulation to avoid otherwise we're probably looking at a $2-3T bailout which in turn will hurt the dollar. I think we're already leveraged at %106 of a debt-to-GDP ratio. This is what Obama inherited from his predecessor and he managed to debt-finance us out of that mess, but both he and the current President have no policy in place to avoid the oncoming crash, which will be bigger than what we experienced.

LOL
Yes, but that's only because UPS gave me my first job.
Brown pride... only someone like you could come up with a term like this.
Let me give you an example of a quote I found on a Spanish website when discussing the soccer wars in Latin America. Now tell me if this is racism in your opinion or not.
Que nos importa si somos argentinos o mejicanos. El enemigo real esta en el norte. Todos somos latinos.
Yes, I think that's a racist sentiment.
Do you think it's racist when Del Potro plays at a grand slam tournament and the argentines are all waving baby blue argentine flags? What would the world say if Tennys Sandgren's supporters waved the Tennessee state flag at a Grand Slam? Would it even be permitted?
There's a difference between having pride in what your country stands for and has accomplished, and waving a flag as a symbol of that pride, and having pride for the race you were born into, which has stalwarts and deadbeats alike, and exists in potentially several different countries.
Because I didn't want another child. And I'm of the opinion that women shouldn't be forced to have babies they don't want or can't afford.
Why is it that the most impoverished people have the most kids.
Maybe it's because they're being scammed by a religion to give up needed money, have as many little church members as they can pump out and regard abortion as a sin.
It's the selfish gene within all of us that drives us to reproduce after our own kind.
No, it's because sex reduces boredom, is inexpensive and feels good. As an evolved species with an advanced intellect, we are past the point of being slaves to our biological impulses. I haven't had sex to reproduce in years, but I haven't stopped having sex. And even when I was trying to have a child, it wasn't to propagate my genes. If I were concerned about that (I'm not at all) I could always take comfort in knowing my siblings have plenty of kids for all of us.

That's the point Schmo. People could use birth control but they choose not to do so. Why is that?

I see plenty of nonreligious people having kids they can't afford. Why would they do that?
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Right. I forgot to mention that religions also frown on birth control. Thanks for reminding me.

I'm pretty sure that the birth rate among nonreligious people is lower than that of their religious counterparts. I'm willing to be proven wrong on that score. Got any stats?
Regardless, why are you asking me this? I only had one kid because it didn't take long, once she was born, for me to realize how awesome the responsibility was. I thought, given my own capacity, that one child was enough.
Why others don't see the incredible responsibility of child rearing the same way I do is a mystery to me.

Perhaps you could get back on topic and tell us if you support Trump significantly increasing the deficit and debt so you can pay all those foreigners who own a lot of that debt?

Apparently, ajax had a much bigger problem with deficit spending under Obama than under Trump.

The National debt is now at 21.34 trillion dollars. It has increased by about 6.8% under Trump. And Trump inherited a good economy.

The Economy is not as good now under Trump as it was under Obama during the last couple of years of his Presidency.
Trump's Economic Scorecard: Higher Inflation, Flat Wages And A Ballooning Federal Deficit
In the past few days, new economic reports have come out that don’t paint a very rosy picture for a number of economic items. While GDP hit 4.1% for the June quarter, but only 2.9% year over year, and the unemployment rate is hovering at all-time lows, inflation continues to increase, real wages are stagnant and the federal budget deficit is ballooning.
The following reports on inflation and wages could be a couple of the reasons that many American workers are not feeling better about their financial situation. And add to those concerns about Trump’s tariffs, especially as it applies to products such as soybeans. To get an overview of economic data while Trump has been President check out “Trump’s Economic Scorecard: 18 Months Into His Presidency.”

End social security payouts now. That would solve it pretty quickly.

I'm cool with that, but you don't go far enough. I think involuntary euthanasia ought to be applied to any and all economic undesirables who can't be leveraged profitably for job creators nor be conscripted to fight their resource acquisition wars.
