There is B.S. here. A significant portion of the American public is discovering that they’ve been useful idiots for Putin. I remember how the right wing media, including Breitbart and Fox uncritically regurgitated Putin’s propaganda about Ukraine and the secret server and how it was Ukraine and not Russia that interferes with the 2016 elections. They went right along with Putin’s desire to portray Ukraine as our enemy and Russias our friend. And all the while Putin was planning his invasion of a sovereign nation. Played many on the American right like a fiddle.

Why, even as recently as a couple weeks ago, the same useful idiots were claiming that Putin had no intention of invading Ukraine.

Maybe that’s why Biden thinks he has the ability to tell someone if they’re blacked or not!

Trump wasn’t misquoted.
So why the protests from Binger when I quoted Trump saying that withdrawal from Afghanistan was a wonderful thing, and Biden should have done it much sooner? Is he on some kind of reality-free plane of being?
Hey Chap. Don't buy into the presuppositions. I was not gaslighting. I was not saying it was misquote. You are being played here.

I was making the point that these clowns at CNN are the same people that vouched for Jussie, and their whataboutism about Trump was just that. It was about Trump, when it was Biden's administration that was in charge of the withdrawal in 2021.

All y'all's concern about what Trump said is funny and not relevant to the fact that Biden was the president at the time. The issue was not getting out of Afghanistan, it was how we got out. But ya know, go CNN and spin this crap that because Trump said it was a beautiful thing, that Biden can skate. F that.

It’s both gaslighting and whataboutism. Chap quoted a news story that quoted Donald Trump. Trying to throw shade on that story because Jessie Smollet is beyond stupid. It’s about as clear an example of false equivalency as one could find.

No, it is not gaslighting. I am not in a relationship with Chap. I am not telling Chap he is an abuser, when in fact, I am abusing him.

Oh, you are not a victim of gaslighting either. Sorry to disappoint you.

I was throwing light on the story and the source by making the point that this CNN clownshow was also telling you that Jussie Smollet was a victim. Oh, and they were running with the story about Rittenhouse being a white supremacist. I am sure that CNN was just spinning crap as fast as they could to regain any losses, both in income and viewership, after the Sandmann settlement. Let's whatabout gaslighting if you are interested.

Thanks for taking on the task of interacting with this weird individual.

His aim is, I think, to tire out the voices of rationality so that he is at some point free to spew his nonsense without interruption or contradiction.

Binger, give up on the gaslighting. You’ve never been able to back up these wild claims of yours. Knee jerk contrarianism is just another herd of sheep — not a superior one.
Interesting.
I suppose if these masks are doing so much and the mandates are doing so much, they are all still in place around the country today, right? We have not been bombarded with propaganda and we should believe everything we here about a war, right? Call me a skeptic, not a contrarian.
I can't call you a skeptic because you're not one. You're a hyper skeptic of anything that smacks of a majority or the establishment and a completely credulous consumer and spreader of knee-jerk contrarianism. Like being the guy who says "auto accidents are way down -- let's stop the seatbelt mandate. You're the guy who was having histrionics over two people getting knocked over by a horse but when it comes to an army invading a neighboring country and killing people, including children, it's meh -- they're just a S-hole country of thugs. Knee jerk contrarianism is morally bankrupt.

You don't have to be in a relationship or be an abuser to gaslight. I'm not a victim of your gaslighting because I can and will call B.S. on it when you do it.

To suggest that Trump's quote should be discounted because CNN made mistakes on other stories is complete nonsense.

You're not throwing any light on the story. You're blowing smoke.

He has an interesting criteria. By his measure, a station like Fox could never be trusted to report anything truthfully, given their sheer number of gaffes and ‘misreporting’ incidents.

And with his own record of disinformation, neither could Binger be considered as an accurate source.

Is Robert Byrd the progressive KKK member Joe Biden said was one of his mentors? If I remember correctly Biden spoke at KKK Byrds funeral I think!

Byrd on those years, which ended before he became a Senator:

“It has emerged throughout my life to haunt and embarrass me and has taught me in a very graphic way what one major mistake can do to one's life, career, and reputation. Paradoxically, it was that same extraordinarily foolish mistake which led me into politics in the first place.”

I appreciate folks that can learn from their path. Compare and contrast to the new darling of Alt-right media Nick Fuentes.
