Trump is losing his mind with regard to how many former Republican staffers, politicians, and voters are speaking at the DNC and endorsing VP Harris. My favorite quip? “We all need an adult in the Whitehouse.”

It's funny how all our Trump supporters showed up for the fortuitous moment when somebody tried to shoot the guy and he was able to play the situation by standing and throwing his fist in the air Hitler style. And then there was Biden's freezing during a debate -- the two fortuitous events in proximity.

Now that Trump is back to talking about things like, how he should personally be in charge of setting interest rates, our resident experts or nowhere to be found to explain to us how that's supposed to work. Of course, we've been told that presidents should do things like that, that the people are electing a president to make the decisions, not institutions. And Look at the God-damned moron they want to make the decisions. It's hard to understand.

What I find interesting as well is how the tone of the Democrat campaign changed with Harris to one mostly focusing on what they are going to do and referring to Trump and co as weird. That's about as close to a positive political campaign as one is ever going to see, certainly more positive than Trump's stances.

I don't know why we didn't start a thread to cover the DNC. Anyway, I've watched every speech at the convention. I still think that Taylor Swift is going to show up with an endorsement. I did a little Swift stalking and she would be able to make it. I'm believe that Beyonce is on the schedule.

Republican Ana Navarro and others have spoken. I also think that Adam Kinzinger is going to take the mic. Imagine that. Stuff you never thought you'd ever see in your life. That takes some damn nerve and integrity.

I can't single out one speaker who was a stand out. I think they've all been stand outs. I recall asking on this board so many times...where are our leading lights? The people capable of inspiring us?

They're behind the podium at this DNC.

Everything, absolutely everything, they've said has resonated with me. My strongest sense is that they are my tribe. They speak to what I believe in. Could I be completely naïve? Sure. I'll still vote in favor of what I believe.

Trump is toast. All that's left now is wiping the crumbs off the plate. And moving forward.

I agree! The contrast between the quality between what is happening at the DNC convention and what happened at the RNC convention is stark! How can anyone honest individuals fail to see how much more positive, competent and confidence inspiring the DNC delegates and speakers are than the RNC delegates, even if they are dyed in the wool MAGA?

While it's pointless to try to reason with you Gadianton, I can't help but be astonished to look at what the last four years has brought us and see how eager you are to vote for more of the same failed stimulus and open borders policies that brought us this level of inflation and affordability crisis as Democrats call it. Do you buy into Kamala's "Greedflation," and what exactly is she going to do different than Democrats did over the last four years? For that matter, why haven't Democrats done what they're proposing to do to fix the problem right now while they're in power? Or do you fall into the Elizabeth Warren camp that seeks higher inflation as a means to tax poor people at a higher rate without having to admit to their constituents what they're doing? There's no saving you all from yourselves at this point. If these polls are correct, the left deserves every bit of the economic devastation that is coming to them.
