That's not why we had inflation. You don't understand economics. The CARES act didn't make prices skyrocket on the other side of the planet. I don't know why this needs to be constantly explained to grown adults who apparently had some formal education, but inflation is caused when demand surpasses supply. It has nothing to do with someone's bank account getting bigger. It doesn't matter if the people have more money, that in and of itself doesn't cause inflation. What causes inflation is when they spend all that money at a rate to which supplies cannot sustain. This happened globally because of the pandemic.Regarding inflation, we injected way too much money into the system via the Care's Act and Trump and the Republicans are responsible for that as well as the Democrats and Harris.
