You do realize, Res, that Biden was using group identity as a political hammer, not as some compliment. That is the same dynamic you claim to criticize. You lecture about mass movements losing individual identity, but you and pancakes are defending a president labeling tens of millions of Americans as “semi-fascist.” That is group-identity dehumanization in its purest form. Biden wasn’t calling out individuals. He was branding a mass. You get that or not?

It is like this. Take the baseline assumption that the bar is not credible. It is a cartel of parasites, a guild of word-twisters who turn language into a weapon. Lawyers are professional liars who prolong conflict instead of solving it. The system exists to protect itself, not justice. Lawyers defend criminals, which makes them part of the same criminal organization.

It is not unreasonable for one or more lawyers to say “uh uh, no.” But your pretend validation that a person within a group rejecting pejoratives aimed at the group is somehow proof that the pejorative is correct is, well, a damned lawyer thing to think and say. There is evil in INCORRECTLY labeling a movement or individual as fascist. You seem to embrace that.

Sorting through thousands upon thousands of hateful and unhinged cable news hosts, news articles writers, politicians, social media posters, talk radio show hosts, and message board posters that have irresponsibly labeled millions of American citizens as fascists/Nazis/racists.

None of whom bear the solemn and awesome responsibility of the presidency. Guess we see how unfit the current holder is, that he has spats with entertainers and uses his power against a large chunk of the citizenry of his country.

Seems like both parties when in power want to eviscerate the 1st amendment. Disagreement is not hate speech. Misinformation, mal-information, disinformation, should be allowed, called out, responded to, but allowed.

Time to vote for everyone but them. Let's get independent candidates who are committed to the Constitution. I would be happy to vote for someone other than a candidate thrown up by these parties. I have lost faith in both of them and the system they represent. Nothing says we have to vote D or R. We clearly need other alternatives, and we still have the freedom to vote for them. Maybe we should before it is too late.

The interesting thing about communicating through this board is that people must rely on what you write to figure out what you mean. So, no, we don't have an 8 ball, and, if we had one, it would do no good. You, on the other hand, want your reader to imagine what you must have really meant, which, judging by our experience reading your caustic drivel lo these many years, can certainly not be anything that looks consistent with your posting tendencies if it makes you look bad.
