I checked my Marxist progressive hand book. It was clear med providers pushing underage folks to change sex should be sent to a cold place east of the Urals.
Maybe Hound should talk about how to avoid the isolated cases of transitioned folks who regret their decisions, instead by of using their plight to try to score political points with hyperbolic and imagined stories about a nonexistent Marxist Progressive cabal supposedly trying to force him into cutting his junk off.

So if its an isolated case of a mutilated child you are cool with it? I am not.

Here is a study that compares regret rates for gender-affirming care with those for other surgical procedures. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/a ... %20surgery.

TL/DR The regret rate is very low — much lower than that for many other surgical other surgical procedures.

I didn’t see a breakdown of regret for people who lopped one off as a child.

Oh, nice. You committed to an opinion. Of course it’s one that agrees with virtually every other person in the nation with the possible exception of Stephen Miller.

Clementine’s situation is pretty tragic, and rather than use her as a prop in a deranged rant about ‘Marxist Progressives’, maybe instead dive into the details, which tell a different story. From a court brief filed:
Around the ages of six and seven, Clementine endured prolonged sexual abuse. Understandably, as her childhood progressed, she began to suffer from a complex array of mental health issues, including, among others: anxiety, depression, undiagnosed post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and potentially bipolarism and autism, which certain of her mental health providers had suggested.
Unfortunately, Clementine didn’t discuss that history of prolonged sexual abuse until long after she had talked to counselors solely about issues relating to dysphoria:
When Clementine turned 11, around the onset of puberty, she began struggling with the thought of developing into a woman, not surprising given the sexual abuse she had suffered, which at that time had still never been addressed or asked about by anyone.

It was around this time that Clementine started meeting with a school counselor to discuss issues related to her deteriorating mental health. In some of these sessions, Clementine expressed that she believed life would be so much easier if she were a boy-again, a fully understandable feeling given the unaddressed trauma of the sexual abuse she endured. The counselor did not question Clementine's experiences of gender incongruence, nor did the counselor investigate Clementine's underlying mental comorbidities. Rather, the counselor affirmed Clementine's gender identity by calling Clementine's parents and telling them she believed Clementine was transgender.

Clementine's parents, completely surprised by this and unsure of how to handle this supposed diagnosis, turned to "the experts," which led them to one of the largest pediatric gender clinics in the country (which was conveniently located close to their residence).
Without such a crucial piece of the picture revealed or discussed, and with the emphasis on dysphoria by Clementine herself, the conclusions about what was supposedly causing the problem were incorrect.

Eventually, Clementine underwent a double mastectomy, after the following individuals signed off on the procedure:
  • Her doctor,
  • Her therapist,
  • A plastic surgeon,
  • A primary care physician,
  • A mental health provider,
  • … and her mother.
(… this example refutes your earlier claim about maverick doctors mutilating kids without anyone’s consent or consultation)

This is a great example of a bad surgery, a set of professionals that should have probed harder, and a patient that withheld information - understandably, considering the nature of it - that could have prevented some very bad conclusions from being made.

Now, you’re a creative fellow, mostly. Maybe you can explain how blaming this entire situation on ‘Marxist progressives’ - and in so doing downplaying or ignoring the faults in the process - serves people in Clementine’s position? Or was the intent solely to marginalize her situation and use her as a disposable pawn in needing to lob dumb insults at a half-dozen people on an obscure message board?

There’s an interesting history, there.

“According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), more than 76,000 cosmetic surgical procedures were performed on teens ages 13 to 19 in 2011, accounting for 5% of all cosmetic surgical procedures performed in the United States that year. Breast augmentation and breast reduction (in adolescent boys) were among the top five procedures performed on teens)”.

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3706055/

Perhaps Hound is so agitated from being a member of that last group, and now regrets losing his moobs.

“Nearly 320,000 breast augmentations were performed in 2011, with adolescents under 18 years of age accounting for 4,830 procedures (1.5%).”

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3706052/

Weirdly, there were more breast implant removals from augmented patients aged 13 to 19 - a total of 64 - in 2020 alone, as compared to Hound’s reported number of unspecified ‘genital surgeries’ (56) between 2019 and 2021. There were also 879 labiaplasty surgeries and 44,686 rhinoplasty procedures in that same age group that year.

I guess that it’s a good thing that you’re waking up to the situation. Too bad that your newly enhanced cognitive state was driven by idiot propaganda and stupid conspiracy theories about a nonexistent Marxist progressive cabal.

OK.

I like how you switch so quickly from feigned concern over kids back into butthurt defensiveness. Yes, it’s always about you. Boo hoo.

Now, your turn to reply. Do it again! : D
