For patriotic Americans who care about the law, they had no right to try to detain her in the first place. They definitely didn't have the right to summarily execute her because they were actively violating her rights, and violating the law by attempting to exercise police powers that they don't have.

They totally had the right to detain her and arrest her. You can't use your vehicle to stop border patrol officers from apprehending illegal immigrants just because you disagree with the law. If radical left democrats don't want to become martyrs they need to abandon this idea that they're allowed to heckle and obstruct ICE officers from enforcing immigration law. Perhaps a better use of their time would be to get a second job so they can legally sponsor illegal immigrants to come in legally with the proper financial backing. Or invite an immigrant family to live in your home until they can learn English, work, and provide for themselves. Voting to give other peoples money away to provide for illegal immigrants isn't going to work anymore because the majority of America is fed up with that and they're not going to vote for that anymore.

I think they've got video from other viewpoints and angles. I'm not reading everything that pops up before my eyes. I seriously need to get away from this crap. It's a futile effort on my part to track a story in the current political climate where lies coming out of the administration are intended to twist our attention away from facts and good luck to anyone trying to distinquish fact from fiction!

From the video, it’s clear that she was indeed driving toward him. He was able to get out of the way, but he did indeed fire after the imminent danger had passed.

On the contrary, she was doing her best to do a hard right turn to get away from the agents, as is clear from the position of her front wheels, which you can see clearly in the New York Times video material. May I assume you have followed the link to look at that? There is no evidence that this woman had any history of violence, and the idea that she would have tried to kill or injure an agent, while other armed agents looking in through her side window is grossly implausible.

Yes, he did indeed fire through the side window of the car, at a time when neither he nor any other agent was in any danger. Again, you can see him standing there perfectly clearly in the NYT material, a still from which was posted earlier in this thread.
