I was dating this girl in high school who got me into the Phantom. Every so often on my mission we'd hang out and play the whole play. I heard the movie was awful so I steered clear of it, but the play goes on every night here in vegas, and they have alot of amazing special effects. My wifes been to see it, and hopefully I can see it later this year.

Actually, the movie isn't bad. I thought they stayed with the integrity of the work. I have not seen the full show on Broadway, but would love to.
Michael Crawford will always be THE ultimate Phantom for me, though. His voice is amazing!
