Kim,
The timing on that song is awesome. Thanks for sharing that one! I had to call my wife in and make her watch it.
Renegade,
Your posting of British music is one of my favorite things about this thread, thanks alot!
Who knows,
TOOL's latest album was one of those albums you have to digest. Its like fudge, you take a little bit at a time because its so rich. It gets better after each listening. At first I thought it was self indulgent and pretentious, now I'm just in awe. I just got tickets to their show here in Vegas on Dec. 14 at the Palms.
Bond,
I always loved that song. Used to be a favorite at the church dances. I was horrified to see th elead singer on an eighties flashback show on VH1. Hes horribly gay now, and one of those "I'm gonna be out there in a pink leotard and pencil thin mustache" type of homos. I try to mentally seperate the two so my memories arent tainted, kind of like I do with Erasure songs I used to like.

(either way one of the best songs ever! "The minor fall, the major lift")

I'm feeling a bit sad or melancholy today, and this song just seems to fit my mood. Plus, I really like it. Blixa put it on my iPod at the Exmormon Conference. Thanks, Blixa!

That is one of my favorite songs ever! I especially like the line about "and when we die, will we be that disappointed or sad, if heaven doesn't exist, what will we have missed?"
I LOVE Neil Hannon. If you ever get a chance to see him live do NOT miss him...

Oh, I went a good 48 hours listening to that song over and over. Good times those were.

I've gotta get out of my slump!
If it weren't so stinkin' early, I'd start drinking already!
For now, I can listen to Emmylou sing Two More Bottles of Wine. What a great song from a beautiful lady!
