This seems like a real weird thread. Decided to click and saw Bahrain. Just wanted to drive by comment, you're wrong about Bahrain. for what it's worth. No idea where this age limit business is coming from, but that's not accurate.

You can quickly find three sources in Google search. If it is not accurate then correct it by giving us a reliable source.

When you state that it's "morally wrong" for a 24 year old to date an 18 year old in Bahrain, what exactly do you mean by morally wrong? Setting aside whether this is factual or not, do you mean that it's illegal and a person could face jail time? That it's frowned upon in Bahraini culture but not codified into law? What does the phrase "morally wrong" mean?

My own thinking was to focus on the moral reasoning of the topic rather than its accuracy. That would be my preference still.

It does a decent job of highlighting how Kant's moral philosophy is born out of his awakening by David Hume to challenges of reason as primary, and engages Hume in developing a rigorous foundation of ethics built on moral reasoning.
