I should just lie and say that was a typo but the fact is that all these years I really did think it was "horny black toad". Man I feel stupid.
At any rate I still think he could have come up with something better to rhyme with road.

Goodness. There's no reason to feel stupid. In case you've never seen a horny (horned) toad, I found a picture of one for you:



They're few and far between, though they used to be more common. I haven't seen one in years and years.

Oh they are still around alright. At least in Fort Worth Texas. They broke my heart in last years Poinsettia Bowl by ending Boise State's perfect season.
