Weird. Both Gunnar’s link and my link work for me.

ETA: Figured it out. The link I posted required a google.com account. I took that part out of the URL, so it should work now.
Thanks for correcting your link so I could read it. I can see clearly now why the FLCCC claims merit being taken with at least a small grain of skepticism. I'm not sure, though, that they were intentionally trying to mislead. The nature of this pandemic, with so many who manage to survive infection without any medical intervention while a small but significant percentage suffer deadly consequences is very frustrating. It makes it very difficult to separate the real remedies from the "snake oil."
I think this is a good point. Would those like the Joe Rogans of the world have gotten better without the ivermectin? Most have mild symptoms or are sick for a few days like Rogan was. That's what happened to me. I had it and was sick for a day or two and then got better and without ivermectin.

Curiously, the ivermectin regimen is supposed to be taken early on and isn't supposed to treat the serious cases. So, whatever successes could be cases where the person would have gotten better anyway.
Myth is misused by the powerful to subjugate the masses all too often.

Randomized Control Trials are the only way to cut through the snake oil. But they're expensive, time consuming, and often inconclusive.

Much easier to get on your podcast and tell everyone your testimony that it saved you.

Ok, dosage control... You're talking about products that...

A) we're made for creatures with different(sometimes radically so) from humans. Ya like Chocolate? Give some to your dog to get a first-hand demo of this(dear lord, please don't actually do that).

B) Are you a chemist, biologist, pharmacist, etc with the knowledge and tools to gage nanogram dosages? No? Then you're exactly like the junkie that tries to eyeball dose fentynal. Unlike the junkie whose death is relatively fast, your's will be long, drawn-out, and painful. As you go blind and your liver shuts down, a doctor will advise you that you can't get on the transplant list. You die in pain surround by regret.

Just go get vaccinated.
If a Giant's pronouns are "fee, fi, fi, and fum", does that mean short people's pronouns are "oompa, loompa, and doopity-doo"?

“It's amazing how they believe exactly the same things about us that we believe about them-- taken in by snake oil, samey in their choices, irredeemably stupid. Proof we live in different and separate realities.”

“what's the difference between snake oil and horse paste???”

I have to say this. I think God spared our lives when He put people into this world that would become passionate scientists that developed the vaccines. I will never change my thinking on that and I strain to understand those who believe otherwise.
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
It's in the book. Yeah, that book.

I’m reading some YA books by Stephen Fry, ’Mythos’, ‘Heroes’, and ‘Troy’, and one of the big takeaways about god belief, whether it’s ancient or now, is that whole lotta people have belief in a dude (Jupiter, Zeus, Odin, Krishna, Elohim, et al) who resides elsewhere and they all share very similar traits along with similarities within their mythos, all predicated upon the travails their adherents are experiencing. It’s interesting to me how God is reflective of the believer, whether it’s a not-insane person like yourself who senses her spirituality acutely and balances it with truths found through a sound comprehension of the sciences (your god wants you to be enlightened and to love others as you love yourself) or the narcissistic believer who’s spirituality serves them first and foremost and who ends up a paranoid and delusional devotee of a jealous and selective god who is capricious and fickle.
