Omg. Did FOX just quote Monty Python seriously?

On a related note, I'm deeply concerned about the citizens and residents who, not by their choice, now live within the CHAZ and don't' have voice in the area. I mean, they could go argue with insane people for a chance to tag a wall or something, but as far as the management of those city blocks and various other freedoms they enjoyed, along with security they presumably approved of, is gone. I hope for everyone involved that the Mayor is able to sort this out quickly and help the area get back to normal with some improvements to policing.

Yes, there is now an online petition asking to return to routine of nightly tear gassing and pepper bombs. They miss the lovely afterglow of the flashbangs and dulcet sounds of baton rounds smacking flesh.Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2020 9:08 pmOmg. Did FOX just quote Monty Python seriously?

Better call out your local 3%ers to stand guard on your block’ cause I hear the Antifa buses are heading Southeast.
The Mayor has assured the captive Chaz residents that the regular city-provided limousine will resume service any day now and the army of maintenance workers that wash everyone’s windows and polish all doorknobs three times a week will return. Residents will be overjoyed when their doors are no longer welded shut and they can again breathe free and walk down the street without fear of seeing chalk art, hearing off key singing, coming within range of off key speakers, and watching guys playing dodge ball.
Seriously, if you have a crap about the local residents, you’d just chill. We have way too many foreign Karens as it is.

Re: Welcome to Chaz
RI,
I'm fairly familiar with Capitol Hill. I grew up in Spokane and had friends in Seattle. Some went to UW. We'd hang out in Capitol Hill when I visited, but this was way back in the 90's. I want to say I saw PJ there, but I'm not totally sure if I'm misremembering where they played in the area. But, yeah. I'm kind of sort of familiar with CH.
ANYWAY.
Who gives a damn about the residents who want an actual democratic government, right? I'm sure all the residents of the CHAZ are 100% aligned with those knuckleheads.

There's an update to this story. The police showed up and removed the reporters covering the event saying they did not have a right to document it.Res Ipsa wrote: ↑Sun Jun 14, 2020 7:31 pmMeanwhile, in America. https://Twitter.com/ur_ninja/status/127 ... 92355?s=21

That’s documented in the thread I linked to.

In Bethel Kentucky, an angry mob of ANTIFA punch an innocent Trump supporter in the back of the head right in front of two black cops who do nothing. I could be getting those details wrong, but thought I'd get ajax's blood boiling enough so he'd actually click on it.
