Yes I agree, same could be said about a 20 year old with 33 year old. So why not raise the age of consent to 25 years?
In most US states the age of consent is 16, again why not raise it to 25?

Research shows that most sexual abuse victims are not lying, but I try not to automatically make a conclusion. I let the courts make a conclusion because I do believe in trial by jury.

In the US a 17 year old can join the military, drive a vehicle, and be charged as an adult for a crime. In Missouri a 16 year old got 241 years in prison for armed robbery, he didn't kill anybody. If 17 is too young to consent, then why not change the age of consent to 25 years?

If there were no coercion and the 17 year old enjoyed the encounter with fond memories of it and no feelings of remorse or shame afterwards, was any real harm done? I'm not denying the possibility that he felt he was unfairly taken advantage of and felt remorse and resentment afterwards, but if that were not the case, what real difference would it have made if he were just over 18 at the time instead of just barely under 18? I have little doubt there was mutual sexual attraction between them and that they both succumbed in the heat of the moment to temptation to do something that they might have later regretted. I don't think it was really comparable to the systematic, deliberate and repeated sexual predation of people like Weinstein, Roger Ailes and Bill O'Reilly.
