Hey MAGA board members, do you understand that kind of thing is literally what our founding fathers warned against? Are you ok with destroying the constitution and the America you enjoyed for the entirety of your lives?
After prolonged remote sensing analysis of the brains of many MAGA supporters, I can answer as follows to both questions on their behalfs:
"YES!!! So long as it causes pain and distress to the kinds of people we hate. Have you not been listening?"
Make America Great My eye! Donald Trump and his minion have done more to undo what is or once made America great than any President in our history! I fear that we may never fully recover from the damage they have done to our country or ever regain whatever respect, admiration and trust we have heretofore earned or enjoyed from the rest of the world, both friend and foe.
No precept or claim is more suspect or more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

As usual, I agree completely with your sentiment.
My wife has a habit of saying "History will not be kind to (MAGA-related anything)" and my in-the-moment reaction to it every time is History is written by the winners, babe, and we don't know if he's lost yet. I don't say that out loud because it would go over with her like a lead balloon, but I think it and likely will so until proven otherwise.
The thing that makes me optimistic that she's right is that the rest of the world is already articulating the historical record she's envisioning, and while the US can propaganda the “F” out of its citizens ad nauseam, it isn't fooling the rest of the world.
Thank common sense for that.

We just had another round of layoffs. Last year was the worst year we've had, since I started with the company almost 25 years ago. This despite expanding our footprint substantially the prior few years, and increasing our market share amongst the top 10 in our industry by about 30%. It was worse than any year during the Great Recession.
It's been very scary over here, although the initial corruption that I feared would bury my sector backfired to a degree at least, and so crossing my fingers. I'm sorry to hear about your struggles. On the bright side, at least it wasn't a 100% round like Spirit Airlines that services your city, or your entire neighbor city of Primm. The "cheap gas" or jet fuel I guess didn't work out as advertised. I recall being promised "low prices" across hundreds of campaign signs that littered the streets especially where rival campaign signs were removed by honest, good Christians. I should take a road trip to Primm one of these days and check out the signs.

It's only becoming more obvious than ever. Trump couldn't be hurting America and its economy more if that was his actual intent! I don't understand how even his worshipful MAGA sycophants can fail to see that, or, even worse, refuse to see or acknowledge that glaring, horrible fact.
