Even John Bolton admitted he was there and never heard that.
Okay. So what about these disparaging remarks?

"I know John Kelly. He was with me, didn't do a good job, had no temperament, and ultimately he was petered out," Trump told reporters during a press briefing. "He got eaten alive. He was unable to handle the pressure of this job."

"This man was totally exhausted. He wasn't even able to function in the last number of months. He was not able to function," Trump told reporters. "And I told him, John, you're gonna have to go, please give me a letter of resignation. And we did that, and now he goes out and bad-mouths."

Oh wait. That's just print. From the horse's ass, I mean, mouth. Four star general. Unable to handle the pressure.

He never said this crap either. Oh wait.

I'm wasting my time here. Ajax I don't believe you know what is going on in the world. I don't believe you go through articles, I don't believe that you search for primary sources of information, and you likely get your news from FOX. FOX plays in my home some days for hours. If that is your news source, you're not getting the whole story.

It’s not like these damned simpletons will read John Bolton’s entire remarks about this incident and Trump, as if that’s the focus... since you know there’s been multiple verifications about Trump’s remarks. Again. Trump could skull “F” a puppy in broad daylight and these remarkable smoothbrains will defend it. They have zero regard for any sense of how this all works, and couldn’t care less about the damage Trump is doing to the Republic.

I tend to agree. The only poster in that possible category that I read here is ajax. I just got done writing a new post about his lack of information that should appear just above your post here.

I don't know what it is exactly. I don't know if people are lazy or what. Like I said in my new previous post, I hear FOX quite a lot in my own home. Some days it's on for a couple of hours at a stretch so I can't help but catch what they are yelling saying. Not everything they comment is bullsh-it but primarily, it's bullsh-it.

I don't spend great portions of my time researching claims, but I do go through competing articles and try to locate primary sources for proof.

I think what is going on with the folks you are saying don't read or whatever, is very similar to when folks in church are passively receiving a sermon without thinking or actually being able to ask questions during it, they leave and call it a good Sunday spent devoted to their faith because they've gotten their weekly injection of the Word though they seem to fail to actually try to live it out.

Maybe they're just blind. I don't know.

Also, note how damned subgenius responds. Doesn’t give a flying “F” what Trump has said, now verified, watch Jersey Girl’s video clip, and instead kvetches about a supposed gotcha. It’s not a goddamn gotcha. It’s been damned out front, on tape, on tv, on Twitter, in front of aides, for the world to see. Instead subgenius acts like the opposing team just got away with a roughing the passer non-call. damned Christ. I’ll never believe another Republican cares about this country, its veterans, again. It’s all BS lip service. damned paper patriots.

Some days what I read on this forum sickens me as much or more than what I read on the news every day. The apathy and ignorance really disappoints. If you knew me throughout my life, you'd know I have been the most apolitical person going. But these 4 years? No, I see how high the increasing stakes are and how important it is that we arm ourselves with information. And I don't know sh-it to start with!

I am not the most well informed person. I am sure anyone can tell that by my comments. But I do follow as much as I possibly can, try to draw information out from a variety of news sources and search for primary sources such as documents and that sort of thing. I tend to post links quite a lot from CNN but that's just where it usually begins with me. It's handy. The CNN website has a nice list of current issues and then I go digging around just like I would for any other type of research.

For all my life, I have seen politics as nothing but a game. The past 4 years have confirmed that but as I said, the stakes are extremely high this election year. I've never seen so much fu-cking sustained chaos in my entire life. And while I was young when the assassinations happened, Vietnam and Watergate, I do remember those events. The body bag counts on the nightly news, the race riots, the national sense of grief upon the assassinations of JFK, MLK, and RFK--you don't forget those things even it you are too young to fully understand what was happening in some cases.

I come from a generation that when we were kids, we had duck and cover drills in elementary school--alarms blaring throughout the building. We didn't know exactly why we were doing it but it scared the sh-it out of us at a young age. We did what the hell we were told to do.

But these 4 years? The absolute worst I can recall. The instability, had it been for a well reasoned and positive goal/outcome would have been okay, but it hasn't been that. It hasn't been a period of conflict and adjustment for improvement's sake. It's just been a 4 year sh-itshow.

As I was out driving earlier, I was behind a vehicle with one of those striped Trump flags flying from it and a bumper sticker thing that said "Keep America Great".

What a fu-cking bad joke that is!

Isn't Trump the same guy who threatened no alimony for his ex-wife if any of the kids joined the military? I mean this should be a matter of record. How does Trump get around this? Everything alleged to have been said by the Atlantic dovetails quite nicely with everything we've seen from this guy since the 70's.

Give Subgenius a break. Of course, he will prevaricate where Trump is concerned. It like John Gee and the Book of Abraham.

I haven't seen that comment about his ex-wife. Got a link about that? Did Ivana say it or write about it herself?

If it's a matter of record, I should like to know where it's recorded.
