And so far as his base is concerned, it is.

The GOP habit of pounding home a lie through repetition has been around since I moved to the US, so the fact that so many GOP voters fall for today's style of BS should come as no surprise to anyone. Given that their current "leader" is a idiot who does nothing but speak what he wishes were true simply tests their ability to swallow the largest truckloads of said BS.

Turns out, they can handle the load. It's like they live and breathe on pure nonsense. Hence, cult.
