Why do Republicans feel compelled to take a dump on time-honored concepts of truth and justice?

Why, that's simple!

Like the notion of being prepared, if necessary, to risk your life in order to do your sworn duty as a soldier for your country, all that stuff is for losers. Trump made that plain some time ago.

And to many, that is a highly liberating notion, because now they feel free to do all the things they have always wanted to do, but from which they were held back by outdated notions of shame. But now they know that the only thing that matters is WINNING!!! So they love Trump, because he has brought them the Good News of the kingdom of unrestrained power, greed and lust.

I really hope the DoJ gets ahold of his and his people’s emails. For example, how did this happen?

https://www.ksl.com/article/50309572/ka ... ud-charges

tl;dr - Kanye West’s publicist shows up to to a Georgia election worker’s house, makes threats against her, and then on January 6th a bunch of people show up to her house and harangue her.

How did Trump’s friend, Kanye West, know to organize people on January 6th in order to harass this election worker? And who were these people, and what were their connections to the Trump administration? I doubt very much this was an organic activity independent of the Trump admin.

Apparently among the docs provided by Mark Meadows was a PowerPoint presentation put out by the White House the day before explaining the steps in executing a coup.

Seems serious.

It’s behind a registration screen. Can you c&p it? If not here’s a Reddit poster breaking down the Jan. 6th coup:

Notably:
Step 10. Once Pence has left the Capitol and the conditional requirements to certify the electoral college are not met, argue that legally the election has no alternative but to be declared a contingent election. Whereby congress would then have to reconvene and vote to elect the next president instead of voting to confirm the outcome of the electoral college.

Trump retains the presidency.

Luckily step 10 didn't happen. It all almost did. If Pence had just evacuated Trump would be president right now. Pence literally got all the way to the car and then refused to get in. That's how close it came.

We were *this* close to actually having Trump overturn the election. Crazy. It feels like Bannon’s fingerprints are all over this thing.

The attempted coup to end American democracy, by the Trump team, was dashed by the warning of Dan Quayle to Mike Pence: Don't be a traitor and a schmuck.

A man who cheats, lies, steals, and enlists others in helping him is known as a psychopathic criminal. Republicans call such a man their leader.

Rep. Liz Cheney has laid out a pretty compelling case against the mobster boss of the Republican Party during his time in the White House.

In a sane world FOX news would be held to account for knowingly lying on air. This is the end result of Reagan getting rid of the Fairness doctrine. There was a time when news outlets werent allowed to tell lies.

Reagan screwed America in the ass and certain Republicans are still reminiscing about the pain.

It's outrageous to me that the media suffers no consequence for lying, while at the same time allowed to profit off their programs. You're right; it should be criminal.
