There's also the issue that there probably is a significant overlap between those who find the draft immoral and feminists. Demanding equal access to improper treatment by the government isn't necessarily going to be a top activist priority. And when confronted with the evidence that this is something that is tackled, the complaint morphs into it not being attended to enough.

Do you really not understand my point?

I understand that you dodged his point.

Please explain: what exactly was his point and why do you think my response dodged it?

Ok. Then why aren't feminists demanding that men are removed from selective service? Why are we condemned to war without consent?

Anyway. Morley. If you're going to be cheeky about signs and issues that aren't being brought up you're going to have to explain to me why these signs have a place at such an earth shattering solemn event:

I mean, if the biggest thing you have to say at a protest, whatever the [deleted] they're protesting, is pointing out the clinical terms for your vulva's bits then I dunno. Your point is kind of lost on me.

This.

That's an odd statement since there were an infinite number of signs and issues that muddled up their protest demanding that men or women or whites or Trump or the Patriarchy or lesbians or someone or something do something differently or acknowledge something or make sense of whatever, and basically turned it into an utter moanfest that had no point other than to moan about things, be victims, and apparently let people know, clinically, what comprises a pussy.

You're the only one I've seen describing it this way.

I'm getting the idea you don't like the march.

Ah, purity test number 2. No man has been sent to war without consent for 40 years. It’s not surprising that “stop forcing men to mail a postcard” doesn’t make anyone’s top 10 list of issues.

Even so, two minutes on the google reveals example of feminists making both arguments you claim they should be making. https://www.ncronline.org/news/politics ... tion-women

I don't disagree. But then, I don't expect to understand the reason for every sign at the march. That doesn't mean the demonstration is useless.

Not odd at all. There are lots of women and lots of women’s issues. I have no problem whatsoever with women choosing the issues that are important to them and expressing those issues in a March. I would find it quite odd for me to tell women what they must say and how they must say it before they can be taken seriously.

I saw much of the March in Seattle, and I didn’t see any victims. In Seattle, the next day was a day of action, which included a voter registration drive. So there was quite a bit more going on than “moaning.”

That's correct. I didn't like the march. I thought it was a bizarre display of narcissism, victim mentality, feminist supremacy, mental illness, and divisiveness. They had no coherent message, they came off as trite, and their righteous indignation is really circle-jerky.

Anyway. I see that you liked their march. That's nice.
